Thought I would experiment with water soluable media and soak in a bath of water. Initially I tried filming this...link to films..

Footsteps
At the moment I am trying to get an idea of how I am going to present these, as I would like to present all the elements that I have touched into in order to honour this process.
This morning what came into my head was stepping into her shoes, which moved into steeped in her footsteps. This has now sparked some ideas as a way to move forward with this idea hopefully to the fruition.

With the punctured language from ethnographic information. Experimenting more with latex and how to progress with this. Pull and stretched the latex, which became flabby.

Latex stretch experiments
Been making latex sheets to then stretch over nails to explore the punctured idea from earlier. Also makes me think about the fragility of our skin/casing.

More examples
The plan is to take these out nearer the end of the project and to remove some of the tubes leaving the internal substances in whatever state they are. The tubes will be collected together and hung/stacked in a way that books might be.
