We lost a giant! And a committee chair at a critical time for our future. We met many years ago at the Chapel of our Alma Matter Howard University, he had a practice of saying powerful thought provoking words and then he would cover his mouth really fast like a child who let out a secret😳, he would then say, “i don’t think you heard me!” Some men are all talk but Rep. Cummings was the real deal. We did a program together when I was a junior at Howard to bring more young black men to college. At that time there were more black men in prison than in college.
