Swordswoman with steel cleaver
Coastal goblin societies have various narratives and legends that incorporate the Wandering Warrior figure as a disruptive or catalyzing character for change. The Traveling Swordsman as it has come to be known in the contemporary are generally portrayed as youths of 19聽to 26 with metal blades at their side, dressed in the typical local styles of which ever area the stories are to take place in. The origins of such tales have their roots with certain myths that can date back to oral tradition, however in these narratives the figures are usually an ill omen of future conflict or raids that befall the setting. In the past such stories would encourage the formation of various warbands to obtain resources and labor from neighboring settlements, presently youths now see them as calls to adventure, all the while feeding into a dueling culture that has only seen greater popularity among those at the frontier.聽
Such duels are to be avoided for those that hold limb health at any level of importance.
