Today my 7 month old dog was hit by a car. I was taking a nap when my mom woke me up and told me. I sat there for a little bit, too shocked to do anything. She asked me if I was okay. I said no, and burst into tears. 

I always just assumed that this happened to other people, or in movies and stuff. I never expected it to happen to me. I keep thinking that I’m going to wake up and he’s going to be waiting for me behind the baby gate, wagging his tail and panting. 

I know that in the big scheme of things, this isn’t that bad, but right now I feel like my life has changed completely. I already miss him so Goddamn much. He wasn’t supposed to go yet. He was just a baby. My baby.

Pride and Prejudice

Somewhat unpopular opinion: The 1995 series with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth is WAY better than the 2005 Keira Knightly movie. Because it was a series, they were able to go way more in depth into the story, and it has the time to go into each little detail. For example, in the movie, you see Mr. Wickham once I believe, and then all of a sudden he’s eloped with Lydia. In the series, you really get to see how he was able to get Elizabeth on his side instead of Darcy’s, and it made much more sense. I also just think the cast was more fitting (not to say that the actors in the movie are bad). I especially loved Benjamin Whitrow as Mr. Bennet and Alison Steadman as Mrs. Bennet. They were a bit more humorous than the Mr. and Mrs. Bennet in the movie, which I found made it more entertaining. And of course we can’t forget Colin Firth!😍

This being said, I am not hating on the movie, nor am I trying to insult anyone who was involved. I am merely stating my opinion, and if anyone disagrees, that’s fine. I just feel like I had to express my feelings somewhere, considering that very few of my friends like Jane Austen, and those who do don’t give me the attention or time to say anything.
