Sometimes wild attraction shit happens when you learn to separate masc/fem from man/woman. Iāve known queer women find the femininity in a man attractive. Iāve known gay men get so hot and bothered by the masculinity of a woman.
There was once a guy who was not really my type but then he did drag and was suddenly wildly attractive to me. And since Iām bisexual it doesnāt give me a crisis when someone is suddenly hot to me in an unconventional way. I used to think this was particularly a bi experience.
Then Iāve met plenty of gay men and lesbians who are also chill about that sort of thing. Sometimes life is like that āoops made out with a twink in Brighton who turned out to be a lesbian who thought I was a lesbianā and sometimes itās like āhey, Iām not normally into men but this guy has got something hot going on.ā

I have a deep love of teen wolf fanfics where Stiles systematically takes down the entire network of Argents. Magical or mundane methods (although I favour the mundane ones). Especially if that includes working with Peter or getting the Beacon Hill Argents arrested. Especially Alison (I have complicated feelings around Alison).

The Bats make it a habit to send Bruce every "Brucie Wayne" edit they stumble upon on TikTok/Instagram. Bruce never responds, seemingly unbothered. But deep down, every notification chips away at his sanity. The more he sees his persona through the internet's lens, the more secondhand embarrassment he feels. Until he starts cringing at his own reflection.
He understands the necessity of maintaining the persona, but that doesnāt make it any less excruciating.
One time, he confides in Clark about it ā because thereās no way in hell heās telling his kids ā and hands over the most-viewed video for context. Clark watches it, only to find himself blushing halfway through. Bruce immediately notices and snatches the phone back;
"Clark, seriously ?"
"I'm sorry ! It's just that, y'know, it's not that bad. I mean... Maybe if you showed me one more, I could, uh, get a better perspective ?"
"No."

*gently takes your hand*
if you truly want fandom to start feeling fun again and not like stepping into a field of a bunch of hidden explosive mines, your going to have to accept that fandom is going to be full of fanart, fanfiction, ships, and people that you fucking hate.
you cannot say that people should allowed to make whatever fanart or fanfiction or like whatever ships they want to and then exclude certain ships or fanfiction or fanart. Because thatās how we got to the point of people not liking fandoms because of peopleās strict definitions on fanart, fanfiction, and ships that are ok and those that are not.
iām not saying you should just simply stop being uncomfortable with ships/fanfiction/fanart that does make you feel squicked out or uncomfortable. Thereās a lot of fanfiction/fanart/ships out there that squick me out. But thatās where itās important to remember the saying ādonāt like; donāt readā. You found the fanfiction you hate; donāt read it. You found this fanart that squicks you out; donāt look at. You found this ship you hate; block/donāt look at the shipās tag.
Running fanartists, fanwriters, and shippers out of fandoms for making fanworks you deem as āimmoralā or āliterally illegalā will not help. Simply put, youāre just making fandom seem restrictive.

Yknow how lions will sometimes pretend that their cubs' biting hurts and stuff as a form of encouragement
Imagine that but like
Robin!Dick: *bap*
Bruce: *dramatically throws himself into a shelf*
