Environment Protection Management

Environment Protection Management can be defined as the management of protecting our environment from different irregularities which are caused by different activities of human beings. Safety of environment is as important for a country as  to develop economically.

Importance of Environment Protection-

For Future Generation- The environment consist of Protection all the living and non-living things which are necessary for our Survival .Therefore, it is important to maintain the integrity of our environment for our future generation.

For Conserving Natural Resources - if we protect our environment it will help us save the natural resources which are limited or non-renewable.

For Protecting Human Health- In the world, there are numerous people which are suffering from several diseases due to the unhealthy environment caused y the garbage lying on the roads.

 To Bring Awareness- Last but not the least reason to protect our environment is to awareness among people. All the issues from which we are suffering today is because of our careless behavior only which leads to the disastrous situation. If people will be already known about the the impact then they can take measures to fight against the situation.

 Measures to be taken to save our environment:-

1-Reforestation- Trees nurture us with food as well as oxygen. They also help us in cleaning the air and saving energy.

2- 3R’s- Reduce ,Reuse and Recycle--  Reduce the activities which causes damage to our environment . Reuse the things which is possible. Recycle the products such as old newspaper, plastic and so on…….

3-Educate- Give the information and educate the people who are unknown to these facts and make them umderstand the importance and value of natural resources.

4-Choose Sustainable Things- Use the products which are less or no harmful to environment such as instead of using plastic bags use cloth bags or other substitute of it.

5-Conserve water- As water is the resource which is less available but most important so use water wisely and do not waste it.

Steps taken by government for environmental protection:-

1-Ban of plastic bags- Indian government is banning the use of plastic bags as plastic is dangerous for the environment.

2-Reduction of pollution - Government has taken various measures for reducing the pollution caused by industries as well as vehicles.

 Reduction of pollution from industries- Government is promoting the tools and machineries which cause less pollution and giving subsidies such as tax holiday or tax reduction to the owners of the industries for using eco friendly machine for example- noiseless generator, solar power machines ,etc.

Reduction of pollution from vehicles- Government is promoting the purchase of electric vehicles by provides subsidies as tax relief apart from this they reducing the fare of public transport. Moreover government has invest huge amount in purchasing public electric buses for short distances.

 1-Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (clean India)

2-Clean Ganga Mission (for cleaning various water resources)

3-National Air Quality Index (NAQI) (for reducing air pollution)

4-Water Conservation Act (for saving water)

5-Green Skill Development Programme (for promoting growing of trees)
