Ahhh!! your oc Herrencreme is so charming and interesting that I wish he was official!!! 😭 I'm shocked to find out he wasn't!!! 😵 You make him look so legit!? It's blowing my mind! And the more I read about him on this blog the more I wish he was canon😢 I'm absolutely LIVING for his connection with Clotted Cream 🥹 I'm really liking how he's from Clotted's past, before becoming consul, even before becoming the 2% connivingness! And they were dating!? Man!!!! That's huge!!! Why couldn't this be official!!!! 😭

Anyway I'd die for them and if you ever dropped their lore I'd be SUPER thrilled! I've been wanting Clotted Cream backstory so bad man, I'm starving for content 🥲 (Devsis kinda forgot about him smh) And I just wanna know more about Herrencreme too!

Thank you so, so much for the kind message!! 😭💖 I'm so glad you like him and the general idea/story I want to explore with the two of them. I'm super touched you went through my scattered lore posts about them because I know it's very messy right now haha but I do hope to consolidate the general premise all in one place soon. I want to start moving away from my fluffy art and start incorporating more "story" into my pieces. Even if there isn't a whole written down summary from start to finish, I hope those bits and pieces of their relationship are enjoyable :')

Clotted is such a fascinating character I just love trying to piece together how he ended up the way he is in canon. His secretive nature just makes me want to dive deeper. Herrencreme was created to kind of supplement that exploration but he got out of control and is now also his own thing lol so it makes me happy to hear both are liked!!

Hi hi, I just want to say that I saw your art on Twitter and I love your style. It's so cool to still see clottcier and odyssey stuff after so long. I'm slowly returning to the game and I wondered if there were still people liking this pairing.

I'm kinda a fake fan bc I haven't finished reading all the Odyssey stuff. But I know for what I heard that the storyline was left kinda inconcluse. Do you think we will ever see a continuation, or will they keep moving without adding too much?

PD: your oc is super cute, what was the inspiration on making him?

Hi hello! Thank you for the kind words about my art and I'm so happy to see another clottcier fan years after their initial release <3 The fanbase is small but mighty!! I check their search/tags often and people are still very passionate about them :) on twitter at least lol

I think they will continue the story in some way, yes. Clotted is introduced to us by barging into the Ancients' business and he keeps continuing to do that lmao so I am hopeful he and the gang will return. The St. Pastry Order is still an open plot line and the Republic connects back to it. I know they haven't done much since the release of the Tower of Sweet Chaos but I have hope regardless since they put so much time and effort into the Creme Republic lore/Odyssey in general.

Also I feel like Clotted will be involved with whatever the magic candy/crystal jam equivalent for Super Epics is. Espresso took his stuff and dipped but Clotted has stated he has control of magic candy affairs in the Republic so who knows...maybe he's finally get the much needed buff via magic candy and costume in the future.

My ramblings about my OC are a bit long so I put them under the cut!

My OC was actually made to fill in a role I wanted to explore with Clotted's character specifically through the lens of an ex! Clotted's character is so complex that I have a really hard time shipping him with anyone that isn't Financier bc of all the good traits he has conflicting with antagonists/villains (he does bad things but he truly, truly wants the best for his people/Earthbread in general. He is incredibly selfless when it comes to himself. He's selfish when it comes to bettering the Republic) and the bad traits he has conflicting with good characters. So I thought it would be fun to introduce a character that has optimism about him until the wedge is just too much as they both grow.

My ocxcanon takes place in the past bc Clotted had to develop and work on himself to become the highly calculated and composed cookie we see him in present time. Custard states he wasn't always like this (his softness was his inherent "flaw") so I went back in time to let him be a bit softer and be more open to goofing off/escaping his strict life.

Herrencreme (as a food) is often eaten after large meals like a wedding so I wanted to tie him into events somehow to both match his food and give Clotted an opportunity to experience fun gatherings and thus he became an event planner who also loves social events in his free time. His name is also basically "gentleman's pudding" so I made him more of a gentleman character that likes to take the lead w Clotted since he's basically dragging him places that Clotted would not initiate himself and supporting him. And because I base Clotted's taste on Financier only it kind of matches how she's his protector/knight.

I needed a character that was bold enough to involve themselves with Clotted in the first place and nice enough to give him a respite from all his intense training/studies to eventually become consul. So when I was looking at food ideas and stumbled across something I could easily turn into a nice gentleman for him to fall in love with and eventually fall out of once he gets closer to become the somewhat shady, calculated, intense young consul we see in present time I knew he I had to make him an actual thing.

But yeah born out of serving a role for Clotted character exploration initially but he has grown out of control lol he is well past just a story for Clotted I love him a lot
