Just in case you can't figure out why Dem Leadership aren't (really) doing anything, it's because they know the only solution—socialism—threatens their own capital. They benefit greatly under the capitalist system and will do anything to protect it, regardless of the suffering it inflicts on the people they're supposed to represent, even allowing a slide into fascism under their opponents.
