Decided to throw some quick colours down to really compare just how much Auri’s changed from mid 2024 to now.

Aurelia- how it started (june 2024) vs now

While cleaning my art folders a bit, I found Auri’s original concept art and thought it would make a fun quick little redraw! Not a ton has changed, but most notable are her nose, her hair pattern (she’s got move wave/curl now), and overall just a bit more age on her face to properly put her in her mid 30s. I’m glad to say her very fun glasses stayed, because I absol love drawing them.

And the first of the seasons is lined! Now I have roughly 68 days to get it painted in time for the first day of summer (wish me luck lolsob)

Paint challenge: Greyson and Aurelia’s echo bottles they exchanged with each other at the close of the Ever encounter that brings them back together.

They were actually separated for this while Auri was in hiding, but thanks to those keeping her safe, they were able to pass these along to each other. Grey had a much easier time with his, while Auri had to get a bit creative since she was on a secluded mountain base. While Grey’s pearls actually came from Lark, Auri broke one of her necklaces for hers. They both laughed at their inclusion of them- it was obviously a much more important moment for them than they realized.

When they finally get to see one another again the tree of Reminiscence is gone, so they hang them on the potted palm tree that sits by his balcony door instead.

It’s taken me way too long to finish these, but I’m so happy with how they both came out! I know I said that you can literally cure whatever ails you by planning out what your OC’s/the LaDS put in their echo bottles for each other and oh BOY did I mean it. This cured me a little bit 🥹. Anyway I hope y’all enjoy these and I really hope more people do this fun little challenge!

A mucha inspired seasons set! Each of the squad has their birthday in a different season, and their personalities reflect said seasons so well, I just had to get the brainworms out!

Auri as winter, Lark as spring, Grey as summer, and Felix as autumn

In my dnd campaign where Grey is a cowboy alchemist artificer (what a sentence lol), he carries a folded up picture of the woman he loved- lost to a mysterious illness during their engagement. Auri was always on the sickly side, being a fair bit more frail than the rest of her family. Despite that however, she was a well loved member of their town, and the most skilled and sought-after book binder this side of Balder’s Gate. When Grey proposed to her, he promised her a small house with a garden so she could grow her lilies.

It was that loss that fueled his desire to fully throw himself at medicine, hoping to one day become a skilled enough healer to prevent anyone from suffering like the two of them had. Now he’s a traveling doctor that offers free or at-cost services, getting by on the kindness of the folks he helps along the way. But in a way Auri is still at his side, in the golden revolver—named after her— that never leaves his sight.
