For a warm up sketch I decided to recreate Grey’s little hairstyle profile I drew (what feels like) 100 years ago now.

It’s fun to see all the changes he’s undergone from conception to current, especially now that he’s a full blown OC as AU!Grey. You can really tell what parts of his face I’ve loved and leaned into more heavily as time has gone on (helloooo eyebrows and eye wrinkles/bags) and what parts I’ve left almost completely unchanged (like his jaw and eye shape).

Anyway, I had fun walking down memory lane with this one tonight. It made me so warm and so so so nostalgic for his old RP blog 😩 RIP lol.

Poor Auri goes through a very very rough few months in her journey to Linkon, having several run in’s with Ever’s raincoats. Thanks to her evol she narrowly escapes capture, but it leaves her with some pretty severe nightmares that take almost 2 years to completely close. Thankfully, her dutiful ‘pal’ Dr. Greyson is on the case of “force Auri to sleep before her body gives out”. Not that she’s particularly good at following doctor’s orders mind you, but she sure tries to at least.

Wip of a biiiiiig ol project I’ve been stewing on that is in messy sketchy form atm but I wanted to post regardless. If you saw the bit of Grey on my other blog then you saw a little sneak peak at the final of his current timeline 😅

Auri and Grey meet in college their Freshman year, but don’t start dating until halfway into their sophomore year due to some conflicting personalities. At the time Grey starts prepping for med school interviews, Auri’s father (a prominent neurosurgeon and professional Piece of Shit) gives him some very very unwarranted “advice” which starts his mini life crisis and the end of their relationship (much to Leland’s joy).

It’s not until after a 10 year separation that they meet again, when Auri is running from Ever Corp after her expedition team starts disappearing one by one.

Also I’m sorry if you try to read any of this, my handwriting is ridiculous and these files are like 8000x3000 so they’ll be compressed to shit here I’m sorry! I plan on typing all the info up when I finish them so don’t strain too hard 😩

A friend found and sent me this adorable ship template (blank below the cut!) and decided to do it for Auri and Grey, better known in my personal tags as their ship name, Equinox. This template is cute as HECK and I’m thankful to @doodle_dae for sharing it ☺️

Most of these are WIPS of course bc it’s me we’re talking about but for some context-

Lark and Auri do a little closet swap one day and Auri goes Goth (more punk really but it’s the thought that counts. She tries.)

Lark’s Lemurian form. On hold WIP until Raf’s route bc maaaaaaybe papergames will quit being stingy bastards with his full form 😤

Grey finds out Auri got a few Lemurian designs tattooed on her after a particular research expedition 5 years ago and had a LOT of questions about… all of it. Originally he wasn’t a fan of the idea buuuuuut he changed his tune a bit when he finally saw them 😌

Auri’s arrival in Linkon is rocky, to put it mildly. On the run from Ever’s raincoat’s for 2 months, sleep deprived, paranoid, terrified, and running out of places to hide, she finally ends up reaching out to the last person she can think of who she’d trust with her life. All in all it was a bad start, but it always works out in the end, right?

Speaking of 👀 After Auri gets shot Grey finally realizes he can’t keep putting off his confession. He didn’t exactly plan to tell it to her neck against the door of his office but…. There they are.

Being constantly under guard takes a toll on poor Aurelia, so one dear surgeon decides to throw a small dinner party for his depressed friend. He also picks out a dress fit for a woman inheriting a small country in southern Europe, to go with that “Heiress” title he gave her back in college.

Said dinner party shenanigans with Felix (Auri’s main bodyguard) Lark, and Greyson who’s been stuck answering a very important email for the last 15 minutes, with a very impatient Auri behind the camera. If you squint you can even see Archie on the counter like a naughty little cat bc no one is giving him any attention 😤😤😤

For Halloween, Auri and Lark made Archie his own little medical uniform so he could be Grey’s PA, but he’s not sure the benefits outweigh the heavy responsibilities.

He’s 99% sure he was abused.

Have I told you yet that Au!Grey is moving to Neurology? Because he is! I’ve decided to take my boo completely off the rails and turn him into a full blown oc as the head of Neuro at Akso. He’s keeping his name bc I can’t imagine changing it at this point, and keeping all of the backstory and character development that went with him.

Hopefully Zayne doesn’t mind that I swiped his asset for the pose reference 😂 as I finish up working on his staff I’ll be posting them with their little blurbs, so I hope you guys enjoy meeting the Akso Neuro team as well☺️

I started a series recently for my and my bestie’s LnDS ocs called “Lowest”, exploring all the absolute worst moments in their lives.

Med school had some rough moments for Grey, particularly when Auri’s father (a well known neurosurgeon) called him a “well behaved junkyard dog practicing medicine”, and then proceeded to tell him that even well behaved dogs can’t out-act their breeding. The poor man has a small ~mental breakdown~ over it, eventually taking it out on Auri herself and ending their 3 year relationship over it despite her best efforts to support him through it. “Junkyard dog” became a sort of ‘spite mantra’ for him during the hardest parts of med school after that, pushing him to unhealthy places (mentally) until his dad finally has a come-to-Jesus moment with him (out of love❤️)

Auri finds herself on Ever’s hit list after her research into a particular Lemurian ruin ends with her entire expedition team dead or missing, and her on the run for months. Finally and the end of her rope and out of options she reaches out to Greyson (her ex from college she hadn’t seen in 10 years) for a place to safely land for a night while she plans her next move, and has a complete and total mental snap in his bathroom when they think a raincoat has found his apartment, assuming this was the moment she was going to die. (Archie played the part of emotional support cat perfectly.) Thankfully it was her first bodyguard, Felix reporting in, instead.

Being a Lemurian is hard enough in Linkon, but it’s even harder when you don’t know enough about yourself to identify fact from fiction. Sweet Lark, like many of her kind, gets taken when she’s young, kept for months in a tiny room, and used for her blood to prolong the life of a terrible man who threatens to force her bond to him. Not knowing the truth about how that all works she panics and kills him, accidentally trapping herself in the process and is forced to wait an agonizing several days with the body before a rescuer shows up.

So this blog isn’t even close to set up yet but hey, this piece isn’t finished yet either (despite this supposed to having been the send off of summer piece for Grey) so I guess it’s perfect for a first post 😅

I’ve gotten really into Copic style painting lately with a more toothy, textured look, and I revived this old sketch for some painting practice a while ago before my heath took a hit. Poor Archie needs to be finished and the shadows need a lot of refinement, but overall I’m loving it.

Here's to hopefully finishing this before winter 😩
