I am a native English speaker from the US, offering affordable 1-on-1 English tutoring. This is ideal for adults and older students (high school or older) who know some basic English sentence structure and grammar, but want to become more confident using English in a professional/business setting, or social/personal setting. 

About the instructor:

- Native English speaker, born and raised in the US (Korean heritage, but I have only lived 1 year in Korea)

- BA and current MA student in philosophy at top university in the US

- Former instructor in English essay composition and reading comprehension at Korean hagwon

- Located near Mapo / Yongsan

My tutoring is available in 2 modes:

1. [Professional or Academic English]

* Ideal for people who want to improve English to speak/read/write/listen in professional settings, communicate with colleagues, and express ideas clearly

* Structured discussion on current events 

* Presenting arguments and expressing opinions

* Public speaking

* Writing (email, essays, summaries)

2. [Conversational English + US culture component]

* Ideal for people who want to improve English to communicate in personal life and social relationships

* Engage topics in lifestyle, culture, current events, trends, with clear topic and reference material for each session

* Learn contemporary slang of US English speakers

* Learn contemporary cultural topics and issues in the US and North America

RATES:

40,000 KRW for 60 minutes 

70,000 KRW for 2 hours in a week
