Japan has become too Westernized

I disagree that Japan has become too Westernized. I have several reasons for it. Firstly, when we think about traditional Japanese religions, there are still many Shinto shrines and Buddhism temples in Japan. People often visit them to pray and participate in events, such as the New Year festival, the Obon festival, etc. Traditional religions make Japanese customs necessary in everyday lives. Secondly, people enjoy multinational food, including Western food in Japan now, but people love Japanese dishes the most. Japan has itsstyle of cooking, and it is trendy in the world because it is healthy and tasty. Finally, Japan has its own culture, and it is still progressing. For example, Haruki Murakami is a world-famous novelist. Budo (Japanese martial arts), such as judo, karate and aikido, are quite popular sports between the young and the old. These are the reasons that Japan has not become too Westernized; they have their own lifestyle.

Do you think children have to study during summer vacation?

I think children don’t have to study during summer vacation. I recommend doing different activities. I have some reasons for it. 

First, it is an excellent opportunity to do alternative things. For example traveling with friends, playing sports or doing culture activities which they have never seen, voluntary work for the local community, etc. Second, I think “do nothing” is also a good thing for them. If children did not do anything from morning to night, they might find what they want to do. Third, it is an excellent opportunity to spend more time with their family. It is a good chance to go out together, such as camping, visiting museums or theatres, and discuss exciting topics, for example, their future, world problems or music with their family members. These are the reasons why it is not necessary for children to study during summer vacation, it is better for them to do something new.

Do you think people eat too much of fast food or that people eat healthily?

Question: Nowadays, there are many fast food chains in town and cities and a lot of candy and chocolate available in convenience stores. Do you think people eat too much of this kind of food or the people eat healthily?

Answer: In my opinion, people eat to much of this kind of food.

Peple like to eat food from fast food chains or convenience stores, because theyare at a reasonable price and easy to eat.

First, fast forrd company puts priority on mass production and efficiency, so fast foods are produced in a large scale in cactories. They stock in their materials for food cheaper price and the sales price can be reduced in this economical system.

Second, people are getting busy in society now; they don’t have enough time for cooking. To buy fast food is the easiest way to get your breakfast, lunch and dinner. You go to the fast food restaurant and just order your favourite, then you can have your food in a short time.

Furthermore, children love candies and chocolates in convenience stores. I think they are not very safe and healthy, but parents don’t have the time to make homemade cakes or buiscuits with time and care anymore.

These are the reasons why people eat too much of this kind of food.

The number of children who take the junior high school entrance exam is increasing in Japan.

I disagree that the number of children who take the junior high school entrance exam is increasing. I have some reasons for it. 

First, studying only the subjects for the exam, may not be a good balance for children. I think to study the subject except for the exam, such as art, music, sports are also important for them. 

Second, of course, the entrance examinations are competitive. it becomes _ good motivation for studying, but if children focus on only the exam, they cannot enjoy studying. 

Third, it costs a lot. We need to think about whether it has an enough value for children’s future. It is an important period for children in elementary school, they will get a lot of knowledge and experience for their future. 

I think that taking the entrance examination is not good for children, they need more experimental and free time for studying.

Do you think it is important for companies to have a uniform or complsory dress code?

Questipn: Some companies have a uniform or compulsory dress code, whereas othe companies do not. Do you think it is important for companies to have a uniform or compulsory dress code. Why? 

Ansuwer: In my opinion, it is not important for companies to have a uniform or compulsory dress code.

While it depend on where you are working, I think it is better that employees of the company can decide how they dress. I have several reasons for this.

First, the most important aspects about a company are the abilities and skills of the employees. Their effectivity at work and their achievement have nothing to do with strict rules for dressing.

Second, a free atmosphere will bring out creative ideas. If emplyewws can work in an atmosphere of feedom, it will be comfortable and it is good for work efficiency.

Furthermore, take for example some successful companies such as Google and Facebook. They don’t have a dress-code; it’s apparent that they don’t have any kindoof strict rules regarding how the employees dress in the company.

These are the reason why I think it is not important for companies to have a uniform or compulsory dress code.

Which do you prefer and why?

Question: Some people prefer to completely relax on holiday. Other people prefer to have an adventure or do lots of sight seeing on holiday. Which do you prefer and why? 

Answer: In my opinion, I prefer having adventures or doing sightseeing to just completely relax on holiday. Why? while I like both of them, I think the activities such as adventures and sightseeing make our holidays more memorable to us.

First, if you gry an adventure, it brings you a new experience. For example, if you go to see artworks in the museum and galleries for sight seeing, youo can learn alot of new ideas and historical knowledge from them.

Second, these activities are good chances to make new friends. For example, if you ride on a same boat while white water refting, it creats good teamwork and a deeper relationship.

Furthermore, these activities bring you deep impressions and full of joy.

So, I prefer having an adventure and sightseeing on holiday.

Do you support or oppose the proposal?

Question: It has been proposed the a new casino will be build close to where you live. Do you support or oppose the proposal? 

Answer: In my opionon, I oppose the proposal of building a casion. Why? Whil I know that building a casino has a ggod economical effect, I think the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.

First, if a casino is opened, a lot of people will come to my town and their purpose would be gambling. Kashiwa city is a quiet residential zone, so you can imagine how a casionois not compatible with the area. I like Kashiwa city because although it is near Tokyo, the nature is still good and the environment is pleasant wichi makes it a good place for raising children.

Second, gambling habit is a problem in the society; if people start to play in the casino, it will be a serious problem for the local community.

Furthermore, it dows not have a good effect on children. Threre are many children living here, and I think they will get a negative influence from the gambling people in a casino.

These are the reason why I oppose proposal of building a casino.
