The last month of the calendar year always bring with it the most opportunities to celebrate friends, family and the natural beauty of the Endless Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania!  Holiday events abound as outdoor winter activities kick off for the beginning of the season when skiers, ice anglers, snow shoers and skaters head to the region to enjoy some of the best trails and terrain in the state. On October 21st, a Zombie Attack & Drive of Horror will draw brave souls to the region to stop an “infestation” before it can spread beyond the EMR Event Park! Paintball players looking for a Halloween treat will enjoy an evening spent stopping the threat throughout the specially constructed walls, fences and “town”. Fall treats, great entertainment and some of the most spectacular scenery await visitors the weekend of October 7-8 at the Elk Mountain Fall Festival.
