Calling the Thunderfam!

For the 10th anniversary of TAG airing, I'm putting together a fic rec list of all my fave fics from the past decade, and I want to include a section with everyone's faves too so we can show our appreciation to as many fics and authors as we can!

So please share any fics that you have read and enjoyed over the past 10 years. They can be long or short, a oneshot or a series. They can be TAG, TOS, or '04, and you can share as many fics as you want. I'm mainly looking for ones posted in the last 10 years, but if there are any particular ones from before 2015 that you've read recently that you think deserves being included, then feel free to suggest it too! I want to share as much love as I can so please help me out!

Are we up for a Fanart Appreciation Month?

But what is Fanart Appreciation Month?

From last year's post:

We all love a piece of fanart. Art can communicate so much in just one glance.

But I would like to acknowledge that fanart can take aaaaages to create and the result can be glanced at and then it disappears into the depths of Tumblr if you don’t have the online storage to display it on Ao3.

So let’s take January and find all the art and reblog it like crazy. It doesn’t have to be yours, just make sure you are reblogging, not reposting, so the artist gets the credit they deserve.

If you are an artist and you feel like using this month to tackle some works-in-progress or create some new art, go for it…I know I have a couple that need attention.

Hi all!

I thought of this idea a couple of months ago, but didn't get around to creating it untill about a week ago. Honestly the idea was better in my head but I still think it turned out pretty cute.

It took me ages to get the storks wings right. And I got a little obsessed with trying to get the Tracy's hair looking decent.

Zoom in on each image for more cuteness and cute hair curls! Hehe! Also feel free to get inspired by any of my work.

I havn't really done much fanart over the years so I don't really have my own sort of art style yet. I mainly just love having ago at anything really. Especially if it's thunderbird related.

I've never really attempted to draw hands or faces before, and didn't really feel up for the challenge just yet so managed to avoid doing both by creating this beutiful piece.

I think this is fitting for this day, since Charles Gray is pretty much a father-figure to his officers, whenever he knows it or not. And this scene from Chris' fanfic that I was inspired to draw captured this part of his personality (as well as his relationship with Scarlet) perfectly! 😊🤍❤️

It seems I’m doing it from youngest to oldest for the Tracy Brothers, so you know who’s next!!!

They’re finally done!  (Barring three UMAs I still need to create and afford blueprints for eventually shh)  Introducing my Thunderbirds fandragons, a project I’ve been working on since October 2019 and finally completed February 2021.

As well as finally hatching and getting their genes, they also all have a completed bio, and are fully statted&stoned level 25s!
