That’s how I want to remember them: happy! Caroline had finally admitted her feelings for Klaus and they shared this rare honest moment with each other. Although Caroline made Klaus promise her to never come back, we knew that they’d eventually meet again. They were immortal, so they had all the time in the world. Klaus knew that. That’s why he was able to make that promise to Caroline. He knew she’d be ready one day and that they’d eventually end up together. He was hopeful and I as a shipper was hopeful as well. My hopes and dreams were crushed yesterday and I’m still devastated. I feel everything at once and it just hurts! I’m actually so angry at myself for allowing myself to hope that the TO writers would do Klaroline justice - I know, stupid me. So instead of feeling sad and getting angry every time I see the latest Klaroline pictures/ gifs, I want to forget the TO finale ever happened! I want to go back to happier times, times that’d allow me to dream about a HEA for Klaroline.

Go ahead, tell me that they don’t belong together. I dare you.
