Only one month left for me to furnish this place!

At this time last year, I had already had my progress check-in on the bakery and it was mostly me assuring them to "trust the process" because I had a lot of the accessories, but my structure was still very clearly a trashcan I'd cut some holes into.

I got there in the end, but I'm very glad I focused on the structure first, this year! There's a lot of engineering that went into distributing the weight and reinforcing each piece that would be a nightmare to do at the end.

Can I make your drawing of the mystery machine into a pin for my jacket?

Hello! Sorry for the late response, I was at an event for 5 days (and then needed a few days to recover RIP).

You can absolutely use that art for personal use! Just don't make more pins to sell or anything like that.

EDITED TO ADD: No one is ever permitted to feed my art or other images, content, etc. into AI. That is all.

And I know that post was linked to my now defunct Society6, but I have redone the design as a mini bumper sticker in my new shop if anyone is interested!

❗️❗️Content warning for some minor taxidermy process including turkey legs/feet and needles.❗️❗️

Things are starting to take shape for my swamp fishing shack for the Bumblewood Thicket fairy village! I've been really asking to do stuff that pushes boundaries and @random_acts_of_silliness has been wonderful in guiding me through that.

Just acquiring the turkey legs seemed like the biggest hurdle of this process - to have already finished them is such a relief! Thanks so much to James @dead_on_taxidermy for taking me under his wing and showing me the ropes!

A matching pair of stonefly nymph sheds with dried river algae. Stoneflies have quickly become my favorite Montana bug. They're very cool ancient critters that make their homes and around our rivers. And their sheds are abundant to collect and play with. a

I believe it's an Edward's Glassy Wing Moth, displayed with purple fleabane, baby's breath, and maiden's tears Hand sculpted/painted base with glow in the dark glitter. This one was claimed before I could even finish it. 🧡

Did you know that snails, like other mollusks, can make pearls? Very few of them make pearlescent pearls and you probably wouldn't recognize them as pearls if you found them, but I thought that was sooooo magical that it inspired this piece! Made with dried lilacs, thrifted sea(?) snail shells, beads, and hand strung "cobwebs" on crushed velvet. And if you look REALLY closely, there are teeny tiny snail shells hidden in there that I collected, myself! 🔍
