Last week’s 4th festival went off without a hitch, with little to no damage. We thank everyone who got involved and pitched in, specifically our residential Eastboro Catholic Church.
The rowdy kid officials had in custody was released today, apparently his name’s Billy and he plans on residing in this town for some time. Billy claims to be an avid fan of TFI. Joy. When an interview was attempted, reporters were bombarded so heavily with profanity we aren’t even able to piece together anything he was attempting to get across.

Important Announcements:
This week is the 4th of July! Celebrate your country (even if you are not from this country, you damned well live here now) with complimentary fireworks — ranging from sparklers to the heavy duty blow your hand off sort ! We find it is an important morale booster and American pastime that everyone can participate in and enjoy. We ask you please refrain from tossing M80s at the opposition on ceasefire, but there will be no penalties upon any consequential accidents this holiday. Respawn will remain at terminal, however, so keep that in mind. Have fun!
Town gossip:
Storm warning! Monsoons due to hit Los Lugar mid-week, be certain to lock up your (surviving) livestock.
As the second most thriving country, and leader in smugness polls, celebrate your 4th of July weekend extra loud! There will be a festival held in Los Lugar’s thriving market district — everything red, white, and blue double price! But you’re very well willing to pay double for YOUR country, right? Good. That’s how we sort out the commies. In the evening, be treated to a massive fireworks display in honor of our founding fathers, and their invention of the stairs. Los Lugar high’s marching band will put on a show and ode to the wonderful, innovative pioneers of our country.
Reports from Teufort have indicated Mannco. is economically plummeting into the ground. We can only hope this rumor to be true, with less funds there’s less means to run an ‘establishment’ in our town. We hope to unearth more details soon.
In other news, the young man taken into custody proceeding last week’s football game crashing, has been reported as not being a student of Los Lugar Highschool. He’s currently being held for further questioning based on his lack of cooperation to provide substantial information outside of, “This is bull—— get me the —— out of here, TFI can suck my ——.”

Reblogging as Text
One of the first and most important rules of RPing on tumblr is reblogging as text!
If you don’t know how to do it, I’ve found this handy gif!
Sometimes you may be on mobile, or for other reasons you can’t reblog as text. That’s okay! But if you can help it, you really need to try and remember to do this.
It makes everything so much easier for everyone! You can see the replies before you, and it just looks much better!

Emmely grinned and leaned agains the wall behind her, with triumph on her face and a pool of muddy water at her feet. It had been a long time since she had such a great performance at the battlefield, and man did it feel good! When everything in your life more or less depends on how good you fight, every win and loss really do affect one's mood, especially if you were on the lucky side. Particularly proud of herself, she got back up and started to head for the kitchen, continuing her long trail of water and dirty footprints.
*Battle Bulletin - June 30th.
The results are in, TFI employees:
Battle Summary:
RED turned out quite a poor performance this week, seeming poorly organized and disorientated in this week’s battle. Some were obviously inebriated while others looked as if they had no idea what was happening. BLU’s teamwork, especially that of their Heavy, Pyro and Scout easily decimated the scattered RED’s attempts at “defense”.
Final Point Capture:
• Maartje Vandeberg.
• Emmely Booth.
• Liam Fitzpatrick.
WINNER:
MVPS:
• 1st: Kristof Eichmann. 1st: Emmely Booth.
• 2nd: ‘Zmeya’. 2nd: Liam Fitzpatrick.
• 3rd: Allen Connolly. 3rd: Zamira Strider.
As always, MVPS will receive a bonus in their paychecks. Anyone with lasting damage from battles should see their team’s medic immediately. Problems with respawn should be reported to administration.

Note
The scout spots missy BLU pyro from across the train tracks possibly heading towards his base -- and he can't have none of that. He makes a charge for her with his pistol out, aiming to injure her before he'd come in with his shortstop.
Emmely was as good as crossing enemy territory when fast paced footsteps from behind caught her attention, and she turned her head to see a speeding RED scout charge in her direction. Increasing her own speed, she turned around the corner and quickly began looking around the room for places to duck away, somewhere to hide long enough for her to take advantage of her newly found company. She turned around another corner, now back at the entrance of the RED's territory, and before she had the time to thinking through her brilliant plan, she was stuck hiding under the stairs between the two entrances. Oh fuck, talk about setting your own traps! There was no way in hell she had the time to get up and away, or even face him in a standing position. But as most scouts, Leroy was tall, skinny, and very flammable, and a couple of seconds was all she needed to get the kindle fire going. Staring in the direction she came from, she fastened her grip around her flamethrower and prepared for the worst.
