He's the ultimate sass king- in the very 1st episode he intended to rob Dazai, but after seeing him drowning he decided to save him. When Dazai expressed his displeasure due to being saved Atsushi looked irritated due to the lack of gratitude(even if he wanted to rob Dazai), and when Dazai didn't have money to treat Atsushi he again got annoyed and talked about how the least Dazai could've done was treat him to food (even though, AGAIN, he was intending to ROB Dazai). Not very soft of him is it!?!?!

In reality, he's a hidden menace to society. And I love him for it. Also I was talking in Shakespearean earlier, you can just use a translator.

The way people treat/view Asians

I swear.

The way the West views Asians is shameful.

The other day I was making a friend and they asked me my ethnicity. I told them that I'm half Taiwanese/Chinese. They fucking told me I was "lying" and "obviously not a real Asian"  because I had tan skin (I LITERALLY DO GARDENING DO YOU EXPECT ALL ASIANS TO HAVE WHITE SKIN) and I didn't have almond or monolid eyes (I told you I'm half Asian. That means I must have SOME NON-ASIAN FEATURES)

Such things have happened to me multiple times.

I just found out about the RCTA culture- as an Asian, I'm sorry to say I am DISGUSTED. People boil down "Asians" to cute, monolid K-pop stars or C and J pop. YOU REALIZE THE AVERAGE ASIAN DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A POP STAR OR ANIME CHARACTER COME TO LIFE. This is honestly so racist! We don't have to look like Junkook or Rosé to be Asian. I am someone who is Asian but doesn't fit the stereotypical Asian beauty standards. Does this mean I'm not Asian after all?  Edit: I researched more about this and saw some resources for "becoming Asian". ​​​​​​Here are some of them:

Wear cute/lolita clothing

Watch anime and K-dramas

Eat Asian food

Wear Mary Janes 

I'm so confused. We're supposed to be working for a world where races are all treated equally, yet as other races get more and more glorified, Asians are left in the dust, getting categorized and mistreated under the guise of "glorification."

Also, the person I mentioned who told me I'm a fake Asian was literally a member of the RCTA community. RCTA people claim they aren't racist. Am I delusional? Was all that was said during my encounter with this person not racist? If someone can explain this to me, PLEASE COMMENT BELOW!

It was a quiet evening on the rooftop, the city lights flickering below like tiny stars scattered across the streets. The soft hum of New York was distant, muffled by the high walls of the building. Jack and Davey had claimed this spot as their own—a peaceful hideaway away from the noise, away from the world.

Davey sat back against the cold brick, his hands resting behind his head as he stared up at the stars, deep in thought. Jack sat beside him, stretched out with his legs lazily crossed, his usual smirk softened into a contented smile. He glanced at Davey from time to time, stealing quick looks when he thought Davey wasn’t paying attention. But Davey always noticed.

“You know,” Jack began, his voice low but warm, breaking the comfortable silence between them, “I used to think the stars were just, well, stars. But lately, I dunno... they remind me of something else.”

Davey turned his head slightly, his curiosity piqued. “Oh? And what’s that?”

Jack’s grin grew, but there was something different about it tonight—less mischievous and more... affectionate. He tilted his head and gazed at the stars, his voice softer now. “They remind me of you. Bright. Steady. Always there when I need it.”

For a moment, Davey didn’t know how to respond. His heart gave an unexpected flutter, a warmth spreading through his chest that had nothing to do with the cool evening air. He wasn’t used to this side of Jack, this vulnerability that showed through when Jack wasn’t trying to charm everyone with his quick wit.

“Jack…” Davey whispered, his voice barely more than a breath.

Jack nudged his shoulder playfully, but there was a softness in his eyes. “Yeah, I know. It’s pretty sappy. But it’s true.”

Davey’s lips curled into a small smile, touched by the words, even if Jack tried to play it off with a lighthearted tone. “I think you’re the one who’s the star here,” Davey teased back, his voice warm, matching Jack’s grin.

Jack raised an eyebrow, a knowing glint in his eyes. “Me? Nah, kid. I’m just a guy tryin’ to make a living. You’re the one out here makin’ things happen, even when the world’s against you.”

A comfortable silence settled between them, the kind where words didn’t need to be said for understanding to pass between them. Davey could feel the familiar weight of Jack’s presence beside him, and he realized that, despite everything, this was exactly where he needed to be. With Jack.

Jack, sensing Davey’s quiet shift in mood, leaned just a little closer, his shoulder brushing against Davey’s. It was casual, but it made Davey’s heart race, the simple contact speaking volumes. Jack’s hand found its way into Davey’s, fingers gently intertwining, the warmth of his touch spreading through Davey’s palm.

“Thanks for always being there, Davey,” Jack murmured, his voice softer than usual, as if the words had been sitting on his tongue for longer than he cared to admit.

Davey squeezed Jack’s hand, a quiet smile tugging at his lips. “I’ll always be here, Jack. You’re stuck with me.”

Jack chuckled under his breath, the sound low and comforting. He squeezed Davey’s hand in return, his eyes lighting up with affection. “That’s all I need, kid.”

The two of them sat there for a while, hand in hand, the night unfolding around them. The stars above seemed to shine just a little brighter, as if the world had stopped for a moment, just for them. In that quiet space, they didn’t need anything more than each other.
