Island of woe/shroud culture event, WHEN?!

I'd like to imagine these two will get into some mischief and go on a silly adventure during a boring sermon or something.

Design notes: (actually another yap sesh, who could have guessed?):

-their veils are supposed to represent shrouds. I know guys, I'm like- a creative genius /s.

-see that little pendant below Idias waist? The two coins are a nod to the fee one has to pay the ferryman.

-I tried to make Orthos "toga" silhouette a little similar to Hercules, since he is the more extroverted and """'heroic"""" one.

-orthos arm and wrist glow things KIIINDA represent some of the jewelry worn by the ancient greek.

-orthos "sandal laces" are made with neon light strips.

-i wish I could have added some pomegranate elements, but I'll leave that for a spring idia design. PINK HAIR IDIA WHEN?!

-not a design note, but I think idia radiates lethal amounts of slay.

That baby 👶 bird 🕊 was tiny 🐥, it didn’t even ❌ have all 🔄 of its feathers 🪶, and it couldn’t sing 🎶. When we found 🧐 it, it was already ⚠️ on its last 😢 breath 💨, having fallen ⬇️ into a shrub 🌳— probably 🤔 abandoned 🏃‍♂️ by its parents 👨‍👩‍👧. We decided 💡 to build 🏗 a nest 🪺 for it right 🕰 there and then ⌚️. However 🛑, thinking 💭 back 🕰, that winter ❄️ was unusually ⛔️ cold 🥶, with fierce 🐯 winds 🌬 at night 🌙 in the yard 🏡, not to mention 🗣 the many 🍀 poisonous ☠️ bugs 🦟 and wild 🐗 beasts 🐻 in the vicinity 📍... It was clear 🧐 that if we left 🚶‍♂️ the fledgling 🐣 in the yard 🌳, it stood 🚫 no chance 🎰 of surviving 💀 until spring 🌼. So 🌐, I suggested 💬 we take 🛐 it inside 🏠, place 🛋 it on the shelf 🗄 by the window 🪟, and asked 🫵 the adults 👨‍👩‍👧 to fashion 🧵 a cage 🦜 for it. We decided 🧠 that when it regained 💪 its strength 🦾 enough to spread 👐 its wings 🪽, we would release 🏃 it back 🔙 into the wild 🌳. The tragic 😢 part — something 🧠 that we’d never ❌ considered 🤔— was that this bird 🕊’s fate 🎭 had already ⚠️ been determined 📝 long 🕰 before 🕛 this moment 🔴... Its destiny 🔮 was determined 🗣 by our momentary ⏳ whim 🌬. Now 🕰, I pass 🎁 the power 💪 of choice ⚖️ to you all 🫵. Faced with this situation 🚨, what choice ⚖️ would you make 🤔? I may be cringe but I’m free!!! Since I made this post I kept thinking about the last part and decided to show my ideas here lol also I suck at character design 😭

Pasithea is a calm soul, and she rarely ever reacts to anything without a distant smile. Her sisters always struggled to get her to be more energetic, but they love her for her mellow personality. The only person who can get her out of her dazed state is Hypnos, who makes her laugh with his humor.

Morpheus was a quiet child growing up, always sleeping and holding onto Hypnos’ old plushie Dizzy. As of now, they try their best to portray their father’s upbeat attitude but struggles under the weight of being the God of Dreams. With their father missing, they are the one in charge of leading the Oneiroi (dreams) and fixing the dreamscape.

Phobeter/Icelos was an interesting creature as they grew, but their maturity stayed the same. They always have the poppy necklace on in order to differentiate them from other beasts they take the form of. They are always seen with a smirk on their mouth and their laugh is the only human words they can form.

Phantasus takes after their mother in which they are happy to take a backseat on most situations. When their help is needed they are happy to assist, but would otherwise prefer to stay in one place as they take the form of any object that holds their interest. They worry for Morpheus and would try their best to make Icelos behave.

ONE OF MY FIRST EVER HSR MOOTS AND ONE OF THE WRITERS I LOOK UP TO THE MOST. her writing style is very scenic?? if i were to describe it, it's very dreamy and whimsical and it's like reading a fantasy book. very descriptive but not so descriptive that you're eating fancy words. she's jing yuan centric but occasionally writes for others such as dan heng and sunday! she's honestly very very silly when it comes to interaction, like in an older sister way <33 she talks like an aesthetic if that makes sense

GO TO HIM. his writing feels theatric, like a movie or a play. it's so descriptive and he does an amazing job at describing action and characters and GRGRGRGR

gwen is an absolute SWEETHEART. very silly. BUT THEY'RE SO SWEET. her writing is literally sunlight put into literary terms, if that makes sense. it's warm, comfy, and cozy (except when she kills you in the arms of your favorite character. which she has done) and i highly recommend her writing for a comfy read <3

ANYWAYS genuinely one of the people i look up to most, she always gives amazing feedback on writing and her own writing??? the prose??? she's a master at it. knows how to really elevate a piece and it's just really easy on the eyes. she's also a research writer, her jiaoqiu fic utilizes chinese proverbs and terminology and i think that's really neat <3

q has a very pretty vibe if that makes sense, i haven't read much from them but i can definitely say that their writing style is beautiful, like a meadow full of flowers or a quiet stream. they've always been kind to me in that sort of older sibling way, and they're someone that i would trust as an emergency contact. lots of genshin and hsr from what i've seen on my dash, so definitely go check them out!

avery's on the more reserved side, at least from my point of view, or maybe that's because when i first met them they had a ferminet pfp. they're pretty chill and casual, and can i just say? their writing is very easy to read, it has great flow and i can just lose myself in the fic. like i don't see the words i see what the words are saying, if that makes sense. avery also focuses on platonic writing, although they have been writing some romance with furina!! my personal favorite work of theirs was that fic of arlecchino comforting her crying child because it made me feel so much better about my life at 9 am when i just woke up.

Hi it's just to let you know that the official romanization of Revaan's name is Raverne ! Also they have romanized Baul's name to Baur !

Twst coming back at us again with the least expected romanization! thank you everybody (oh god my inbox) (no it's great, I literally asked for this and the reactions have been INCREDIBLE, thank you all!)

I do like Raverne though, I think it's got a nice fancy sound to it! (I had kinda suspected it was going to be an R instead of an L, so the fact that it's SO close to Laverne except for that is hilarious to me personally.) and Dragoneye Duke is honestly probably the best translation for his title, I wasn't envying the localizers that one. :') Baur instead of Baul I was NOT expecting, but in retrospect I think his name's supposed to be a reference to the Bauru crocodile, so that actually makes way more sense!

someone else also said Meleanor has become Maleanor, which is the REALLY weird one to me, because I was so surprised it was written as Mel instead of Mal in the first place?! oh god no I can't decide which one I like better. 😭 (I wonder if they might change it to Mal...they have made romanization changes before) (like I remember House of Distraction being corrected to House of Destruction in Playful Land) (I did check and she's still Mel for now, but I dunno, they might Mal her up and some point and save me from having to make a decision about which one to use) (HECK I CAN'T DECIDE)
