I'm excited for people in their twenties to have strong opinions, but sometimes those opinions are wrong. Like actually factually wrong.
You know, it's fucking annoying how there are people who have never experienced life without the internet can literally not picture life without it.
"Why did people do that back then?" And the back then is the nineties. Literally none of this knowledge was available to us, you chuckle fuck numpties.

Honestly a thing that I've come to realize is that people on the far left believe that they are the only ones fighting for true liberation and justice and consequently can't be high control or authoritarian - or if they are, it's justified - and people on the far right genuinely believe they are the sole guardians of freedom and morality and consequently can't be high control or authoritarian - or if they are, it's justified.
So what I'm saying is, if you don't regularly question your beliefs and reflect on your behavior, if you don't think you have the power or capacity for evil and must watch for it, you are extremely likely to fall into this.

I think consenting to sex you don’t actually wanna have is a real form of self harm but society will never recognize that bc if we do like a very large percentage of American housewives would see the inherent violence that undertones all heterosexual marriage

Literally zero men have ever carried people through a group project ever.
some man is shitting on this womans note-taking process bc its "aesthetic" looking and assuming she must not remember anything/know anything she wrote down bc she is so focused on how it looks. the man even admitted he isn't a good note taker himself, like sit the fuck down? i fucking hate this place

i fucking hate how people are so comfortable using mental illness as an excuse for abusive behavior these days, especially when it comes to misogyny.
no, your favorite actor did not beat his girlfriend because he has bpd, he did that because he is a piece of shit misogynist who only sees women as objects. no, your brother does not make rape jokes because he's autistic, he makes rape jokes because he hates women.
plenty of people with mental illness go through life without acting like actual monsters, especially women. because the behavior that is considered acceptable from men is the same behavior that women would be hunted down like witches for.

Often, men will say something like : "Who built this world? Men! Who created everything, all the technology, the great art, the culture, our societies? Who built the roads you drive on? Men!" and feminists will respond "That's because you didn't let us work or make art!" and... that's just wrong? Why are you validating the idea that women didn't contribute anything to the world? That we didn't work? That we didn't innovate? And why are you approving the nonsense that says being a mother is not work?
Don't let men rewrite history.

This doesn't really do her work credit. I've seen one of her paintings in person and it's breathtaking.
