this website pisses me off, everyones always like “space is so cool!” not its not, space is bullshit and i hate everything about it, i genuinely just saw the phrase “a black hole with a mass two billion times the mass of the sun” im so pissed off, shut the fuck up, dont patronise me scientists you know i dont know what the fuck that means, my sad little brain cant comprehend the mass of one sun let alone two fucking billion, i cant even count past 10 without getting confused and youre out here talking about the mass of two billion fucking suns, shut the hell up. and dont even get me started about black holes or the expansion of the universe because thats another two seperate rants entierly. oh and apparently theres a planet made of ice except the ice is also on fire??? yeah sure fucking thing, scientists. and this is just the shit i know about. i purposely dont research space because it pisses me off so much, god knows what other fucking bullshit exists out there that ive yet to read a fucking wikipedia article about. i dont think space is real, literally everything about space is so fucking fake, this is just some elaborate fucking practicle joke. two billion times the mass of the sun, fuck you

hi ! so i have had a tarot card set for awhile now, and my friend told me that i'm not supposed to buy tarot cards for myself? and that someone else is supposed to buy them for me..? is this true? and if so. may i ask why?

The meme you’re referring to is that your first tarot deck is supposed to be given to you as a gift by someone. Some people have taken that idea and expanded it to ‘never buy a tarot deck for yourself or you won’t be able to read with it!“

This is utter nonsense. Think about it–if everyone who wanted a tarot deck sat around and waited for someone else to buy them a tarot deck and then gift it to them, the publishers of decks would be out of business. It’s as silly as sitting around waiting for someone to buy your groceries for you, or buy you that new purse you really want.

As I understand it, some occult groups used to have a tradition of gifting a tarot deck to members who had completed their tarot-reading training, basically as a graduation gift. Obviously, this graduation gift would become a cherished item to the members, and frequently the preferred deck for their readings. Somehow this has morphed into "You’re not supposed to by tarot decks for yourself.”

Buy whatever decks strikes your fancy and fits your budget. As long as you’re comfortable with the deck, you should be able to read with it just fine.

Today I was rehearsing with the guitarist from the show I’m doing and I was coughing up a lung bc I’m sick and I was just kidding but I told him he needed to bring me a lemon for me to slice up and put in a cup of tea and so I show up to the show tonight to get ready and he sets down a big ass lemon on my dressing room table and then brings out like 5 boxes of Halloween Oreos and for those of you who pay attention to my posts you know what a big fucking deal that is and so long story short I now have a lemon and more Oreos than I know what to do with

Magic power prop ideas for cosplay!

*UPDATED WITH NEW VERSIONS!*

Set #1: Most recent version (V4). Shortly after posting V3 (set #2) I realised the spiral section around the pendant needed to look more warped. Managed to make 1mm PETG work for the entire piece this time, looks consistent now. Merged the previous pattern pieces into one for a cleaner design. Set #5: Heat-shaped PETG strips to form a half-sphere structure to support organza, all attached together by tape. The most vivid sheen swirls in the bottom left photo were created by a torch. Set #6: I later found another organza (it was labelled ‘dance organza’ - bought it at Spotlight) with a more vivid sheen than the type featured in the 4th set of photos. Deathclaw deadly claw test! Wanted to check the movement with foam to make sure it was good to go, so current foam is roughly shaped. But I’m happy with how it come out and I’ll be finalizing it soon! Huge thanks to the hubs for all his help with the mechanics! Having a blast with this build and can’t wait for DragonCon!!
