since im giving them info below the cut i decided to go back and edit this post and give the characters there a little bit of info as well

brief descrptions on all of them below the cut in order:

Brush (upper left, he/him), Canvas (middle, she/her), and PB (lower right, she/they) are a trio of siblings. They are all in the same college and typically collab with one another to create continuously piling art pieces

Basket (he/him) is a teacher assistant for a kindergarten class. He encourages kids to expand their creativity through arts and crafts, oftentimes letting them color plastic eggs for him to display on his head until the next time they color eggs

Fiddle (left, she/he/they) and Herb (right, he/him) are residents of rogue's hoard in the slough. Having grown up in a more grungy and rough environment, these siblings live a more chaotic life together and commonly pickpocket unsuspecting victims passing by the outskirts of the rogue's hoard

Ivy (they/them) is a barista of a coffee shop. Theyre usually snappy and demanding in a busy environment, but when all is calm, they are more laid back and slightly grumpy at the most. Despite being an energy drink, it's kinda funny seeing how the only time theyre more energetic is when theyre telling their workshy coworkers to MOVE IT RIGHT NOW

Rattler (he/they) works at an 80s inspired arcade. Every now and then, he also fools around and plays a lot of games himself when the arcade isn't too busy (which isn't a lot). Even if his head is in the clouds sometimes, he likes being surrounded by the noise and neon colors of the arcade

Blythe (she/her) and Willow (she/her) are settled down in beast's nest. These sisters own a dress tailor business in one of the few busier cities of the realm, finding a mutual joy in tailoring dresses for anybody. Despite being the size of. well. ribbon spools, Blythe and Willow work seamlessly together and seem to crank out dresses like it's nothing

Fuzzy (he/him) is the employee of a quiet hotel somewhere in beast's den. He is pretty laid back and easygoing, always preferring a slow and quiet day over everything. After his shift, his favorite thing to do is show up at home and pass out on the floor somewhere

Floats (he/him) is a reserved freshman college student. After he's drained from his classes, he regularly spends time in his dorm room with his equally as introverted roommate Strawby. During this, he'll sometimes drag Strawby into helping him decide on what kind of syrup to wear the next day (yeah. its object things LOL)

Strawby (he/they) is an introverted person spending his first year in college. At the same time, he works as a library assistant at the college's library and enjoys the slow atmosphere

Maggie (she/her) is quite the hard-to-amuse person. Taking most things seriously, she chose the path of being a high school history teacher and quickly grew accustomed to adjusting to the chaos that is high school

T.C. (she/he) is the lead butler for a high class family. She is generally polite because of her job, but she is actually very strict and will raise her voice when it comes to instructing her coworkers to pick up the pace. He is also a bit stubborn, having gotten used to tell others what to do instead of the other way around

Lance is a sand cat anthro that makes his home in the boiling wilds of the dry frontier. Being in his 50's, he's old at heart and is honestly pretty grumpy and snappy most of the time. He's the owner of the "golden shine", a bar in a small and quiet town that majesty, abigail, and groovy work for

generally, he's pretty distant and cold from people and prefers to be secluded to himself. kind of ironic considering he runs a bar of all things, but whatever. he's too stubborn to even consider the idea of dropping the bar

mostly a drawing practice for trees

worldbuilding rambling for the under cut lol:

Usually, trees and rocks are affected by the strange magic of the world. This causes patterns in the bark of trees or surface of rocks, some varying in different patterns depending on the region, temperature, or whatever other factors there are

Generally, trees that grow in warmer or temperate climates have the swirling patterns drawn in the picture above

As for the blood drift birchwood, these are trees only seen in the Blood Drifts, an extremely dangerous location in barefield of the flat drifts district. This kind of lumber is very expensive, partially because of the rich red color the wood is. The labor required is taken into consideration, as these trees are in a location with such frigid temperatures that would make even the most heavily dressed people die within minutes. On top of that, the trees produce a red sap that releases chemicals. These chemicals will make the person feel as though theyre killing a living person, prompting most to drop the axe and leave the tree alone

The "eyes" of the tree are also made to intimidate people into leaving it alone

"Abigail is a no-nonsense, sometimes stubborn vampire bartender. Needing to grow a backbone around drunks, Abi has gotten accustomed to telling people "no" when the time calls for it. She does have a soft side though, having heard many customers vent to her about their issues and why they're at a bar in the first place. To many, she's an open book and is generally understanding, but will be spiteful towards those that tick her off."

He moved to the Homing Realm to escape the chaos of Beast's Den and found home in the Dry Frontier, though sometimes he wished he found a cooler place to live… He knows that he can't always stand up for himself and doesn't like using his unnatural strength to defend himself. He will often find himself freezing up or trying to talk himself out of the situation, though the latter seems to be his trump card considering he's a siren."
