Hello everyone! 

We are hiring 12 part time field organizers for the fall semester in 12 southern US states! 

Those states include:  ALABAMA, ARKANSAS, FLORIDA, GEORGIA, KENTUCKY, LOUISIANA, MISSISSIPPI, NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, TENNESSEE,TEXAS, and VIRGINIA. 

Do you live in these states? Do you want to work with the Change Project? 

We are looking for people to do these things: 

1. Host 3 Our Bodies. Our Lives. Discussions

a.     Using the artwork of Our Bodies. Our Lives.  The organizer would partner with local LGBTQ organizations to have an exhibit and panel discussion around LGBTQ identities.

b.     At the end there would be a request for donations to be made.

2. Host 5 – 7 Our Voices Matter/My Pronouns Matter recording parties

a.     Each coordinator will record at least 5 stories for OVM each time they host   a recording session.

3.     Attend at least two pride festivals within 300 miles of your location

4.     10 – 15 hours/week

5.     Some nights and weekends

6.     Travel required; Meals and travel expenses reimbursed.

7.     13 week contract starting September 1.

8.      Standing for up to 6 hours at a time. 

Compensation:  $750 - $1250 stipend per semester depending on experience. 

We are looking for people who are at least 19 years old, have previous organizing experience, and a reliable mode of transportation up to 300 miles away from where you live. 

We would prefer that people have some background in diversity education, some experience in grassroots fundraising/organizing, has good communication skills, and is a sophomore in college or older.
