“Man walks in a straight line because he has a goal and knows where he is going; he has made up his mind to reach some particular place and he goes straight to it.”
—
Le Corbusier
“One of the basic situationist practices is the dérive, a technique of rapid passage through varied ambiences. Dérives involve playful-constructive behavior and awareness of psychogeographical effects, and are thus quite different from the classic notions of journey or stroll. In a dérive one or more persons during a certain period drop their relations, their work and leisure activities, and all their other usual motives for movement and action, and let themselves be drawn by the attractions of the terrain and the encounters they find there. Chance is a less important factor in this activity than one might think: from a dérive point of view cities have psychogeographical contours, with constant currents, fixed points and vortexes that strongly discourage entry into or exit from certain zones.”

Beautiful hike the other day ended behind an active shooting range. Hightailed it out of there pretty quick… Reciprocal MA CNA license has finally gone through, and I have thrown in an application to a local hospital and will probably start working as a CNA again soon. https://www.instagram.com/p/CloZxcBr4Xn/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Finally managed to split all the wood I could except some of it is way too long…so now it’s time to buy a new chainsaw. Really need to have a good one. I’m living in the woods anyway so I guess it’s time to spring for it. https://www.instagram.com/p/ClmSFpSvU9w/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Negative Covid test for all, 3 lb’s of Croton/Creton made, hot fire to keep old people, warm, watched creature from the Black Lagoon in 3-D last night, and had a lovely breakfast this morning. Happy Thanksgiving! https://www.instagram.com/p/ClWS9hiO5CM/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Started the process of getting my reciprocal CNA license in September. Had to send to Maine twice for them to send me a letter back, telling me where to send it in Massachusetts. after waiting nearly a month, the letter came back as refused! called and emailed the Massachusetts office and they sent me a completely different address to send it to . 😡😡😡😡😡😡 Can’t practice in Massachusetts until I have it. Guess it’s more waiting now… https://www.instagram.com/p/Ck_g1qRPlkm/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Old meets new! Very good friend of mine gifted me these anatomical references and these real skulls to help me while I study. it’s very different, even seeing it in a 3-D view as opposed to holding it in your hands so it’s been a good experience. Submitted six PA school applications, two schools told me they aren’t doing any more interviews and I’m still waiting to hear on the other four. In the meantime, I’ve been working for Cindy’s company and getting a lot of things in order, but their website I can only work on at night so for now I’m using it to try to refresh my memory on anatomy and physiology. Also, waiting from the state of Massachusetts to get my reciprocal CNA license and can’t work in MA until I do. I was expecting to have heard by now, but might be a good opportunity to do some volunteering at the local public health departments… maybe even the Friendship if I can swing it. https://www.instagram.com/p/Ck1ZgWtvcJS/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
