Unsure as to why the forgiveness of Solas from Lavellan is considered a weakness. Why is compassion always seen as weakness? Why is it seen as naive?

I don't know.

I think I'm sentimental, perhaps. I think I see what Levellan wants to see, or needs to see, maybe. I think she sees what Solas...wants her to see as well? Why else send her the letter, honestly.

You could say it's selfishness on his part, I guess. He left her, abandoned her, and now what? He wants her to stop him? What right does he have to expect from her?

The great dread wolf, wishing a mortal elf, a Dalish elf, to stop him. Insanity.

I think it just proves how highly he thinks of her, though. In the end, he knows he is nothing in the face of his vhenan.

To choose hope is not a weakness. To be vulnerable is strength.
