"Is this the one that you know where to find, or should I start keeping an ear out?" The last question he'll ask for now, he decides. He slips out of the tree, slinking deeper into the forest. He needs to feed soon, so he figures he might as well go for a hunt. Animals aren't quite as satisfying as people, but they still work well enough.

Sirican doesn't think twice before snooping, when he notices the high mage of Katolis leaving the capital. Breaking into Katolis Castle and seeking out the other dark mage's labs. Attempting to steal another mage's secrets. A bit of knowledge theft never hurt anyone, did it? It’s not like the human will ever know.

It takes him only two hours to find something. A covered mirror, sitting in the dark. Now that's interesting. He can practically smell the magic coming off it, though he has no idea what kind it is. His curiosity has been peaked. He wants to know what's so special about a mirror, that a dark mage would keep it near his supplies.

The thought strikes him that this could be a trap. Some kind of alarm or something made to spy. His hood is up, cloak buttoned, sleeves down, skin completely hidden. Still, better safe than sorry, he thinks, extinguishing his small flame. Only once he's certain there's no light to expose him, does he dare to lift the curtain and take a peak.

"I've no problem sneaking around Xadia or blending in with humans. I'm used to searching for things I don't know where to find, and following directions is no issue. I don't care which path we take, as long as I get what I want in the end. So, which do you prefer?”

"Alrighty then!" He slips his hood back on, hiding his face in shadows once more. He quickly moves about the room, putting most everything back where he found it. Leaving too much evidence would defeat the purpose of breaking in. Once done, he casts a simple camouflage spell before sneaking his way around the castle to a window.

“So, any ideas where we should be heading?" He doesn't wait for an answer before jumping out the window. Right off the side of a cliff. When he nears the water, he casts a grasping spell to swing himself across to the trees on the other side. He seats himself on the branch he used to catch himself, awaiting the answer.

Though it's not just his hunger motivating him, even if that's certainly the biggest factor. It's his curiosity, too, that drives him.
