"From the Journals of Dr. Arthur Sweetly" -- A Victorian surgeon with an interest in Spiritualism documents his dubious experiments as he seeks to prove the rumored distance communication method of sympathetic writing. Appears in issue 4 of Reader Beware.

Actually full disclosure until like a couple months ago I thought that Severance and Succession were the same thing. They're both three-syllable titles that start with S and from the scattered posts I saw on my dash appeared to involve mostly people looking very distraught in business-y environments. Eventually I started to pick up on the sci-fi stuff but for a while I was just like "Man, this family is even more fucked up than I thought!"

No one wants to leave the country they grew up in, but news like this shows how difficult it is to live in Gaza with homes, schools and hospitals destroyed.

I was having beginner swimming lessons and Olympic diver Tom Daley was there, too.

I was really surprised because surely he can swim already?

No, he explained.

Once he dived off the board, they had to get someone to come in the pool and fish him out.

They edited that bit out of tv footage of him diving. I was sworn to secrecy about it.
