I am imagining serenity and Leon in a magic coma in an old temple cave. They are laying on a tiled island in the middle of a pool, and when their friends come in a shape is moving in the shadows. They take a step forward and the creature appears. An old spirit that has been isolated in the cave for ages and now decided to take in these two sad young creatures that stumbled into their lair. The dragon creature hovers above their bodies and stares down their friend.

Their friends ask what right the spirit has to them and the spirit asks the same thing. Where were they when these two stumbled into their forgotten cave? Where were these friends when these two were bleeding in the pool as they were pursued by attackers?

They are unfair questions. How could their friends have known? The two of them taking refuge in the spirit’s home was pure chance, but the spirit has already taken a liking to them. They have been alone here for so long, and these two young ones (young to them at least) came in need of help. Help she could not entirely supply, she doesn’t know how to cure their wounds, but they can pause it. The can put them to sleep, frozen in time, and perhaps try to fix things like this. But the relationship is one sided. The spirit read them when they came in, but they knew nothing about her, and their friends actually do know them.

The fair thing to do is to hand them over, but the spirit doesn’t want to let them go yet. They will, but they don’t want to. They will have to choose between staying here and keeping them frozen, and letting them go with someone who might be able to fix them, uncertain about their ability to follow these two characters that they are treating a bit like kittens that they found in the street.

These frustrating protective feelings I get when reading certain fanfics, I need to get this out of my system somehow. I need to make something with my own characters where I can use it for projecting on a strange long dragon creature without a single form that has some shifting features and can stand over a character she’s decided to adopt while having something like blood or venom dripping from her mouth while she hovers over the passed out form of an oc I put through some shit.

I need to draw this. I need to pick an oc to get a weird demigod like creature to guard their injured form like a grieving mother.

I don't think it's been used, but you can justify it if you want as meaning a thin and flat plant structure. A blade of grass

This wasn’t something I tried super hard on, it was just promoted by something that made me think about how 13 year old me was when the depression started and even after all these years that mindset is just waiting for me to slip up so it can drag me down again
