A collection of my workMy goal with my art is to create the most authentic image of myself and my experiences, but my view on what makes art good is constantly changing. I want to try as many different ways of making art as possible, whether they are large ambitious pieces or quick expressive studies, each piece teaches me something new that I can take to the next one. No piece I could ever create would be perfect as the perfection I chase I can never create. I feel as though I am held back by my lack of knowledge which is why I have dreamed of studying art, as the more I learn, the more my creativity can be freed.

Isolation - Acrylic on board 84.1cm x 118.8cm
This self portrait is in response to Cristina Troufa’s work. Leaving gaps for the green to show through was easier for me as I only had to paint the highlights and shadows.
