The Blurb
There is one version of my story that everyone knows. And then there is the truth. Once I loved a boy called Peter Pan.
Peter brought me to his island because there were no rules and no grownups to make us mind. He brought boys from the other place to join in the fun, but Peter’s idea of fun is sharper than a pirate’s sword. He wants always to be that shining sun that we all revolve around. He’ll do anything to be that sun. Peter promised we would all be young and happy forever. Peter will say I’m a villain, that i wronged him, that I never was his friend.
Peter lies.
My thoughts:
When I brought this book the cashier told me he had just finished this book and it was incredible. He was not wrong.
This is an amazing story about Peter Pan long before Wendy, John and Michael. This story is from the point of view from a lost boy called Jamie. He is not only a lost boy but he was the very first lost boy and Peter’s right hand man. So this gives us a very unique view in to Peter Pan and his life.
This is a very dark retailing so if your looking for the magic, wonder and love that the Disney film brought you, its not here. There is still magic but there are dark secrets and very real fights. But this just adds to the great story.
I fell in love with the main character Jamie and the care he shows for the other lost boys but also because of his strength and leadership he shows to make sure everyone survives this very scary and sometimes frightening island.
There is a character in the book called Charlie who is a very young child. His relationship with Jamie will fill you with hope and a little joy in this very dark setting. But you will slow start to hate Peter in the way he not only treats this cute, innocent child but all the lost boys.
I will not spoil Jaimes back story but when we do fined out its shocking.
You will never forget this story and this version of Peter Pan.
I loved this book so much so Im going to give this book 5/5.
If you haven’t read this book PLEASE DO!
Next month I will be reading and reviewing Dream a little dream by Giovanna fletcher.

Hey guys.
Today I decided to try and crate a possessed make up look. This is the look I created. So here we go.
So first step is the eyes. I started of doing the red base so I could build the black up as I need on top. So I used my Real Techniques base shadow brush and used it in this red colour ( called Freak out) from the MUA pallet silent disco.
I put this red all over the lid up to the eyebrow and actually round it to underneath my eye. Just making my eyes as red as possible.
Now we can and the black. Im using the black from this Revolution pallet called Flawless 2. Using the rounded end of this Studio brush I started applying the black to the lid of my eye and slowly building it up and around like I did with the red but I’m not going as far as the red as I still want the red to be seen.
Now the main eye is done Im going to do the cracking look that is underneath the eye. To do this I’m going to be using the same colour and using the Real Techniques fine liner brush. I start of my the red and just draw the cracking look that I want. This brush is good for doing this because it is thin and easy to control.
I do like the look of the red by itself but just looks like blood and I wanted to and a bit more creepiness to it so I do the same but with the black. I do start to over lap the black and red because I wanted it to look like something evil was coming out my eyes and cracking too.
I then moved on to the lips. I wanted to keep the same colours as I used on the eyes so I used MUA’s shade 13 lipstick. I didn’t put this all over my lips instead I just put it on the middle part of my lips.
Then to add the black I added MUA’s jet black eye liner to the conners of the lips and going back with the fine liner brush in the black I have been using just dusting it on the red parts to make it look like the black is merging with the red.
The final touch was adding black around my hair line, forehead, Checks and chin to give it a more death/ creepy look to it. Using My Real Techniques angled highlighter brush I used the same black as before to create this look.
And thats it my possession look. I hope you guys enjoyed this look. I also did a Beetlejuice look yesterday that you can check out. And if the halloween looks aren’t you thing I have done some Disney looks and normal looks to which you can check out.
If you liked this follow the blog to get notified when I upload next. Also give the post a like and comment what looks you would like to see next. You can also follow my social media (all buttons are on the side).

Hey guys!
With halloween just around the corner I thought it would be fun to try out some halloween inspired make up looks. Today Im starting out with the ghost with the most and one of my favourite movie characters Beetlejuice. So lets get started.
So Im going to start of with the eyes. Im going to be doing them in the classic Beetlejuice colours green and purple. Im going to use the colour from this MUA’s pallet called silent disco. I will be using my real techniques base shadow brush.
I’ll be starting with the lightest of the greens called Rave. Im putting this all over the lid and up to the eyebrow.
I then add the medium green called Revel to the lid then add the darker green Wild to the conners of my eye. Once thats done I will be adding this dark green from my Wizardry and Witchcraft shadow pallet which I found on eBay.
I will be adding the green called potions with my studio double ended brush. I will be using the more rounded end of the brush as I find it easier to apply.
I will be applying this green like I would apply eyeliner so its just across some of my lid.
Now going back to the MUA pallet using the same press (clean the green of first), Im taking the purple colour called Electro. Again using the rounded end of the brush I am applying this under my eye. Going all the way along so it meets the green at both ends.
Then I just added some mascara to finish off the eyes. I am then moving on to doing my face. As Beetlejuice is dead and comes up from the ground he is rotting and he has a lot of green rot on his head. So Im taking the three green from the MUA pallet and using my Real techniques angled highlighter brush, I’m adding the greens to my head building up the “rot”.
Starting on my forehead and making my way down my face. Im manly doing this on my forehead because this is where he has the most rot in his look.
You can build up the greens anyway you like. If you have a darker green I would recommend adding that but I didn’t have one that wasn’t glittery so I stuck with the three in the MUA pallet.
I added bits of white from revolution’s flawless 2 pallet, just to add more paleness to the look as Beetlejuice is very pale as he is dead.
Then I used my finger in the black of this Gosh pallet called thunderstorm. I added this under my eye to give it a more dead feel.
I then mored on to the eyebrows. I used the studio brush in the purple I used before from the MUA pallet. I then added this all over my eyebrow.
For the final step I used MUA’s lipstick called Mulberry to add the purple. Then using the same green from the wizardry pallet and the studio brush I added the green to the lips to show the two colours of Beetlejuice.
And now for the final look!
This was a very fun look to do and I hope you enjoyed it. I will defiantly be doing more make up looks for halloween so stay tuned for that. You can follow the blog to get notified when I post next. You can also follow me on all my social media (buttons on the side). Also comment to let me know what character you would like me to do next and check out my other make up looks.
Thanks for reading! See you next time.

Hey guys I haven’t do a make up post in a while so I thought I would keep it simple by just doing a simple eye make up. Today I have taken inspiration from my favourite Inside out character Sadness.
As you can see Sadness has different tones of blue and her hair looks glittery so I decided to add that to my make up. So lets get started.
To start of I’m taking my real techniques base shadow brush and adding this light blue colour called psychedelic from MUA’s silent disco eyeshadow palette.
I apply this blue all over the lid and going up to just under the eyebrow. This blue is very light so I had to apply a couple of more times to build up the colour.
When I was happy with this base colour I took my studio duel eyeshadow brush (the brushy end) and added it to this darker blue called glam in the same palette.
As you can see this blue is also a bit glittery so will be great for creating our Sadness look. With the brusher end of the brush I started to fill in my eye up to where my crease in my eye happens. This brush makes it easy to draw the rounded edge I wanted. I then filled in the colour some more to make it darker.
This has made the two toned look that I wanted to show the different shades of blue that Sadness has.
I then took my Glam crystals gel liner in pow by Collection and draw a normal winged liner.
I created a thinner winged line compared to what I normal do but I wanted to keep the glitter minimal because she isn’t a glittery character its just the effect in her hair.
And thats the look. My simple Sadness inspired eye make up. I hope you enjoyed this look. If you have any characters you would like me to do a make up on let me know.
Be sure to check out my other makeup looks and join in with my book club.
All my social media is on the side.
Thanks for reading. See you next time!

The Blurb:
“Who is the real Margo?
Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs into his life—dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows. After their all-nighter ends, and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues—and they’re for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees the girl he thought he knew…”
Many people will know John Green for his book The Fault in our stars which became a movie. This was my first book from John and now I have read three and I love all of them.
From the start the prologue pulled me in and I wanted to see how Q and Margo’s friendship grew and what happened to them next. As the years go by Q and Margo’s friendship is not what it was but she choses him for an adventure before she runs away.
Q’s search for Margo leaves you guessing. Guessing where she has gone?, if she’s okay, Why she did it?, if she will come back? and if Q will find here.
Along with Q’s friends Ben, Radar and Margo’s friend Lacey they try and solve the puzzle of to where Margo has gone by the clues Margo’s have left behind. I was so invested in to if they would find Margo and if she was okay. I also wanted to know why she did it. In the end it is a very beautiful story of teenagers losing themselves, not knowing who they are and trying to find themselves. Its a story that we can all relate to. We can also relate to Q and his secret unrequited love for Margo and asking what he will do to find her.
Overall I would give this book a 4 out of 5.
Next months book will be Wilde like me by Louise Pentland. Link to her book below.

Waterstones – Wilde like me
Thanks for reading.

This months book is a love like blood. I am going to but a warning on this. In the story there is talk of sex, murder and of course blood if thats not what you in to or don’t think your the right age please skip this book and go to next months book which is talked about and the end.
The blurb
“I’ve chased him for over twenty years, and across countless miles, and though often I was running, there have been many times when I could do nothing but sit and wait. Now I am only desperate for it to be finished. In 1944, just days after the liberation of Paris, Charles Jackson sees something horrific: a man, apparently drinking the blood of a murdered woman. Terrified, he does nothing, telling himself afterwards that worse things happen in wars.
Seven years later he returns to the city – and sees the same man dining in the company of a fascinating young woman. When they leave the restaurant, Charles decides to follow…
A LOVE LIKE BLOOD is a dark, compelling thriller about how a man’s life can change in a moment; about where the desire for truth – and for revenge – can lead; about love and fear and hatred. And it is also about the question of blood.”
This book was quite the rollercoaster of a book. I from “ohh this is a good book” to “oh no its losing me a bit” to “ohh its getting good again” to “well that was a bit disappointing”. The story sucks you in and you are intrigued by the mystery and the horror that the main character Charles Jackson finds himself in that you want to find out with him. The book dose goes in to some very dark and horrifying territory with brutal murders being spelled out with nothing being left to the imagination.
I was really enjoying this book up until the end. We went on the decade long journey with Charles and it built up to the epic moment with the villain and then the ending to all that and the direction Charles goes in the end was so unsatisfying to me. I felt that after everything that Charles dose to stop the villain this is the way he goes. It left me feeling that the character Charles wouldn’t go down that route after everything that happened.
So overall I would give this book a 3 out of 5 and would only recommend to people who like very dark and disturbing stories.
Next months book is Paper Towns by John Green who (if you don’t know) is the author of The Fault in our Stars. There is a movie based on this book but I haven’t watched it so I’m going in to this which out any idea what is going to happen. Links to the book below.
