12 years ago today, Lie to Me premiered on FOX. 

Loved the cast. Loved the science. Loved the plot/stories. Loved the characters. Loved the chemistry between Tim & Kelli.

God, I hated Alec’s attitude. 

And I’m sure Cal and Gillian are husband and wife now :)

“You’re not my husband.” What a difference. 

One man asking her to break the law and then make her feel guilty for refusing; the other man reassuring her by saying she did the right thing. Still, she felt like she had to apologize.

Now, tell me who really loved Gillian.

I think the reason Gillian said this so easily is because she clearly has seen this before: she’s referring to her and Cal in their Pentagon days, when they met. Cal, the bad boy obsessed in finding the truth about what happened that St. Patrick’s night; Gillian feeling like she’d known him long enough to protect him. The way they look at each other confirm it ❤️

I’ve read several fanfics that are written even better than the series. Fans that were able to capture the true essence of the characters. They’re written like a great book.

These people are amazing. They deserve to write for their own series.

If you want to give advice, great. But don’t mock or judge.

lmao people mock fanfiction but when u think about it some people manage to create novel-length stories that are extremely well written without getting paid and they do it on top of school and work and everything else in their lives just because they love to write and they love the original story or the people they write about like im pretty sure that’s more productive than being the person who is just sat there laughing at it all
