I loved taking pictures at the Special Olympics game tonight- not only was I surrounded by hard work and passion but I felt like I was able to get lost taking pictures. Last May, I found myself with some extra money. I felt like I was at a crossroad, where I could pay off the interest off my student loans or buy a DSLR camera with two lenses. When I was making my decision whether or not to buy photography equipment, my mentality was that I have the rest of my life to worry about money but I am only in my 20s once. I thought of all the graduations, weddings, and friends I'd like to capture now. Anyways, I am so happy I went with the camera because I am doing a project where I'm letting seniors in college reclaim their high school senior pictures. I want everyone to have a LinkedIn headshot that makes them believe they can land their dream job and a picture that their mom will frame.
