The more discomfort you can feel the more growth on the other side. So this year, lean, RUN, leap, even jump into that discomfort. Push yourself outside of what you know, and who you know. Do something different, take a risk. Feel alive. Sign up for the half marathon. Move yourself forward. When you make decisions, think - is this moving me closer to who I want to be or further away? Stay close to who you want to be, stay close to that version of you. Stay close to people who take risks. People who will push you further. The friends that leave you in awe of the moves they are making, and if you don’t know anyone like that. BECOME someone like that. Become a pioneer, be the first in your family to invest in themselves, in their hair, their skin, their health and wellbeing. Be first to do cold plunges once and week and infra red sauna. Be the first to read a book every week to expand your mind. And I don’t say all of this to say you need to be on some crazy fast moving train chasing and striving. But even if in one area you just made a LEAP forward. Your life would start to transform, you would gain more self respect. You would get yourself in momentum. Because the weight of depression, the weight of staying small keeps people stuck for years, even lifetimes. I don’t want that to be you. I want you to thrive this year. I want you to know that your dreams, and your vision board actually matters. It means something, and you can take little (or big) actions today, that move you forward. It’s my goal and mission to keep writing these little posts to motivate you, to remind you, to push and encourage you. No dream is too small. You’ve got this. Step forward. Little by little. And watch the weight shift, watch your life become the light. Watch and see how the discomfort was the secret sauce to your growth.

How I healed my inner child:
1] I read Susan Anderson - taming your outer child. This book changed my life, it was recommended to me and taught me the ways my inner child reacts when hurting, it teaches how to journal with your inner child which in moments of extreme anxiety has allowed me to connect with little me and unblock what is coming up in that moment.
2] CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy). Another opportunity to learn about how toxic behaviours in my relationships were rooted in my childhood. Understanding this helped, although did not fully clear this out…
3] Until I started EFT (emotional freedom tapping), working with a EFT therapist (costs the same as a meal out or a new pair of shoes if not less), each session I was able to unblock traumas and behavioural patterns that were rooted in my childhood and make peace with them once and for all.
4] Forgiveness, I’ve mentioned this before but writing every situation that has hurt me since I could remember from childhood to present day and visualising myself as a loving adult letting little me know I am sorry (one by one) for each trauma I went through, no matter how big or small. This took a few weeks/ months but the weight I felt after, I knew shifts had been made.

How to transform your life in one year:
• Practice Daily Gratitude: Focus on what’s going right instead of what’s wrong. Start each day by acknowledging three things you’re grateful for—it shifts your mindset and opens doors to more positivity.
• Embrace Solitude to Reconnect with Yourself: Spending time alone can be intimidating, but it’s where self-discovery happens. Use this time to reflect, journal, or set goals. Reinvent yourself from the inside out.
• Choose Your Circle Wisely: Surround yourself with people who uplift, inspire, and energize you. Let go of relationships that drain your spirit or pull you backward.
• Reduce Distractions: Take a break from social media, endless scrolling, and mindless entertainment. Get back your time, and use it to work on your goals or indulge in self-care.
• Focus on One Skill: Choose one skill or passion that you want to master this year. Go all in—whether it’s learning a language, writing, or a professional skill, make it your main focus and track your progress.
• Move Your Body Daily: Physical movement is essential, not just for fitness but for mental clarity. Stretch, walk, dance, or do whatever you enjoy to keep your body and mind active.
• Commit to Self-Love: Make a promise to yourself to love and accept who you are at every step of the journey. Speak kindly to yourself, honor your needs, and embrace your unique qualities.
• Get Intentional with Your Time: Instead of just letting the days pass, structure your time. Set goals for each week, prioritize what matters most, and stay consistent.
• Cultivate a Growth Mindset: Embrace challenges, learn from setbacks, and view everything as a step forward. Growth doesn’t come from comfort—it comes from resilience.

The book of 2 Corinthians is a letter written by the Apostle Paul to the church in Corinth. It addresses various themes, including suffering, comfort, reconciliation, and the nature of true ministry. Here are some key points and insights from this epistle:
1. **Affliction and Comfort**: Paul begins by discussing the comfort he has received from God in his afflictions, emphasizing that this comfort enables him to comfort others (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). He highlights the reality of suffering in the Christian life but reassures believers of God's presence and support.
2. **The Nature of Ministry**: Paul defends his apostolic authority and the integrity of his ministry. He contrasts the old covenant, which brought death, with the new covenant of the Spirit, which brings life (2 Corinthians 3:6). He emphasizes that true ministry is characterized by sincerity and reliance on God's power rather than human strength.
3. **Reconciliation**: A significant theme in 2 Corinthians is reconciliation. Paul speaks of the ministry of reconciliation that believers have through Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18-19). He urges the Corinthians to be reconciled to God and to one another, highlighting the importance of unity in the body of Christ.
4. **Generosity and Giving**: In chapters 8 and 9, Paul encourages the Corinthians to excel in the grace of giving. He uses the example of the Macedonian churches, who gave generously despite their own poverty, to inspire the Corinthians to contribute to the needs of the saints (2 Corinthians 8:1-5). He emphasizes that God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7).
5. **Paul's Defense of His Apostolic Authority**: Throughout the letter, Paul defends his authority as an apostle against false teachers and critics. He shares his own experiences of suffering and hardship to demonstrate the authenticity of his ministry (2 Corinthians 11:23-27).
6. **Strength in Weakness**: Paul famously writes about his "thorn in the flesh," a persistent struggle that he asked God to remove. God’s response was, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). This teaches that God's strength is magnified in our weaknesses.
### Reflection:
2 Corinthians offers profound insights into the nature of Christian suffering, the importance of reconciliation, and the call to live generously. It encourages believers to rely on God's grace and strength in all circumstances.
If you’d like to discuss specific passages or themes from 2 Corinthians further, or explore how to apply its teachings in your life, I’m here to help!

Undeserved When someone hurts you or, worse, hurts somebody that you love, revenge can seem appealing. After all… They were mean. They were selfish. They talked behind your back. They broke a vital promise. They lied about you. They criticized you. They ignored you. They did the unthinkable. They walked away. They deserve to be punished, right? To feel some of that same pain? They deserve a consequence that will not only help them learn, but will be just as severe as the inflicted wounds. And yet—because God sees things differently, both His standards and tactics can be surprising. And that’s why the apostle Paul, writing to the believers in Thessaloniki, said: “See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people.” 1 Thessalonians 5:15 NLT Paul’s words sound a lot like Jesus’ words—to love your neighbor as yourself; to do to others what you’d like them to do to you. (See: Matthew 22:38-40) God’s ways might not always be easy, but they can always be trusted.  When we choose unforgiveness, hate and anxiety and bitterness will likely take root. But when we choose forgiveness (even though we might need to consider new boundaries), love and peace and reconciliation can flourish. So, what about you? Have you ever been mean? Have you been selfish? Talked behind someone’s back? Broke a vital promise? Lied, criticized, or ignored? Have you ever decided to give up and walk away? In our unique-to-us ways, we’ve all let someone down. We’ve disregarded God’s instructions and, instead, created our own instructions. We’ve messed up. We deserve God’s wrath but, instead, He’s offered us His unconditional love.  Because of Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice, we didn’t get what we deserve. And even while hanging on that cross, breathing His last earthly breaths, He cried out, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” (Luke 23:34) Jesus repaid our evil with extreme mercy, leaving us free to conquer evil with good. So today, let’s honor His sacrifice by treating others the way He treated us.

Tumblr media
READ: On average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic — 66 days to be exact. And considering that 2025 is precisely these many days away, why not start with our glow up plan already?
Tumblr media
Physical Glow Up-
BODY
— 5-10K steps a day.

Tumblr media
Mental Glow Up-
MINDSET
— set clear goals- define and breakdown your aspirations.
— start your mornings with positive affirmations.
— surround yourself with uplifting content and people.
— be shamelessly selfish to your career and mental health, remove anyone or anything that doesn't align with your priorities and wellbeing.
— boost your brain health by these 4 neuroscience tools:
difficult first: start your day with the most difficult task (cortisol and dopamine are high in the body meaning that your body/mind is primed to work).
rest your eyes: introduce a micro-pause after learning by resting/closing your eyes - will help retain information better.
tomorrow's worries: write tomorrow's to-do list before bed as it is proven to be effective in helping you fall asleep.
find time to play: engage in low-stake play. can be anything you find fun but where the outcome doesn't matter (induces neuroplasticity + reduces stress).
MIND
— meditation might take as low as ten minutes, but your focus will be improved for the rest of the day.
— no social media after waking up and at least an hour before bed.
— keep aside 1 hr of time to read daily! reading a new book may take five hours, but you will keep the knowledge forever.
— journaling, gratitude.
— digital detox once a week or for 12 hours.
— limit unnecessary screentime, unfollow or cut off people you don't want to see.
JOURNALING
— choose a regular time each day to journal, making it a part of your routine.
— find a quiet, comfortable place free from distractions. light a candle if you want.
— allow your thoughts to flow without censoring or editing.
— write about your feelings and emotions to understand them better. write about things you are thankful for to boost your mood. write about your short-term and long-term goals. identify what triggers certain emotions or reactions
— set a timer for 5-10 minutes and write continuously during that time.
— reflect on both positive experiences and challenges.
— make lists, journal your thoughts on these questions.
— journal at night to clear your mind before bedtime, because emotions and thoughts lose their power once we acknowledge them.
— a gratitude practice may take five minutes, but your mindset will be shifted for the rest of the day.
AFFIRMATIONS
— customise affirmations to your needs.
Tumblr media
Personal Life-
WEEKLY TASKS
— initiate small changes: begin with small, manageable tasks such as making your bed or cleaning your room every sunday.

DAILY WORK
— set achievable goals: establish realistic goals for the day, week, or month ahead.
— track your progress.
— organise your work space, declutter your shelves etc.
— embrace the power of lists: keep a list of tasks to be done and their deadlines. this way, you start each day with a clear plan. to make it visually appealing and motivating, consider using productivity apps like evernote, habit tracker, or notion.
PRODUCTIVITY TIPS
— wake up early.
— plan ahead everything, do scheduling. you can use:
google calendar / notion / tasks .
— if the task takes less than 2 minutes to finish, do it immediately.

I want you to start asking yourself questions, get curious about why you’re clinging onto the guy that’s offering you nothing, why you feel so anxious when you’re around that group, why you felt triggered when that happened. Start getting to know who you are, write in your journal, start asking yourself, and if you don’t know the answers to the questions you are asking yourself unpack that, where are my blockages? Why don’t I have access to the parts of me that contain the answers? How can I know myself better? There is a higher wisdom that is guiding you ALWAYS. There will be answers when you allow, but you have get curious though, that is your task. You have to know yourself to understand who you are in order to make changes. This isn’t about seeking anything or anyone outside yourself, the answers aren’t out there, they are within. TAP IN. Tap into you, into your truth, into what’s really going in inside. This is the journey of self discovery.

SHOW. UP. AS. HER. Not next week, not next month. Not next year. In real-time, in the present moment right now. Each time you delay your very best self in the future you’re screaming to the universe ‘I am not worthy as I am right now’. I am not worthy of investing in me, in how I look, in going to the pilates classes, in taking myself out for the nice lunch I promised, on going on the trip that’s been on my bucket-list for years. On waking up early like I promised myself. Delay, delay, delay. There will always be delays unless you DECIDE to take control. Unless you decide that the version of you in this moment IS WORTHY of the investment. Each of us has in mind this higher, elevated version. The 2.0. The upgraded you. Your job is to build habits that bridge the current you to the elevated you. What needs to change to get you over the bridge? What do you need to do? What do you need to stop doing? These are the daily questions. Do some reflections. Make a plan. Stick to it.
