this little cutie is named cheeto!

recently (December 26th, 2024), he had to go to the emergency vet for a severe bladder blockage. he was unable to urinate and started urinating blood. this was a concern that his original vet said would need immediate medical attention. when he got to the emergency place, they immediately took him back as a top priority. they had him sedated and catheterized within 5 minutes of him arriving. he was given fluids, and his owner (my older sibling) was given estimates on how long he should stay for. the recommended time was 36-72hrs, unfortunately he was only able to stay 12 because the cost of more was too much. there are chances for permanent kidney damage, cardiac arrest, and other fatal complications. we are trying as best as we can to get the money needed for his prescribed food and medicine. he also needs blood work done to ensure he is getting better and not worse as his previous levels were so high some were unreadable. I wouldn't make this post if I didn't feel it was dire. cheeto has been in our lives for almost 6 years. he has lived through my father's death, my house fire, and many other traumatic events. losing him would be losing a dear member of our family. he is my siblings baby, if you saw how they treated him, you'd understand just how important he really is.

if you are able to, I ask you to please send some money to help with cheeto. anything counts, no matter how small. even sharing the post helps. just please help us get this to the right people.
