Oh, yeah, doubt he’d be a fun ghost, probably just do a lecture on the hypocrisy of the church or something. A dead librarian with unfinished business would be more interesting. 

        Perhaps I should toss A Florentine Tragedy at them and have Oscar Wilde summoned so he might finally finish writing it? He’s much more tolerable than that rambling Frenchman, in any case. All those with overdue library books hurry and pay your fines or face the ghostly wrath of The Librarian! Sounds like something out of an old school horror movie.

People say and do what they feel obligated to. That’s good. I don’t know I just feel tired or something…I haven’t been sleeping well, it’s probably gotten to me.

        Obligations and expectations are an inescapable fact of reality, unfortunately. Rough stuff, insomnia is a bitch. Give me a ring if you’d ever like some company; better to be miserable and exhausted together than alone, right?

damn. what a waste. if i wanted to hear people mumble over a flame i’d go to coachella. i’m not much of a horror or seance or creepy vibes kinda dude but i am a fan of fire so if they light the building on fire let me know, i can be down there in like 10 minutes. 

         Coachella, no thank-you --- too many flower crowns. I’ll let you know if they knock over any candles so long as you promise to bring some popcorn to the show.

sounds kinda dope. but i can’t really believe that there’s that many dead people to channel in bumfuck lima. also creepy as hell as a seance is…are they wearing robes and everything? 

       No robes, sorry. Just some mumbled chanting and a couple open flames. Judging by the flash cards one of them keeps sneaking peeks at, they’re a bunch of inexperienced morons who are more likely to accidentally burn the building down with their Halloween themed candles than actually make contact with anything even remotely supernatural.

       No, not really, actually. My upbringing didn’t exactly involve a lot of family photo moments. But I get the gist of what you mean. Disney trips seem cheesy, but I’m sure you two will have a grand ole’ time.

         Lord Tubbington. Interesting name for a very interesting fellow. So the sharpie marks are your doing. Kudos, especially to whichever one of you drew the giant triangles over Blaine Anderson’s eyebrows.

And here I was thinking about joining. Wanna make it two members? I’m kidding, thankfully. That’s not really something I find interesting. You’re at all my choir events? I guess I haven’t really seen you since you’re backstage, or something, I’m assuming. Drama and the arts must really not be your thing then, huh? As far as snoring goes, I’ve just kind of asked my family. It gets a big no every time. Me snoring amongst everything else would really be the icing on the cake, though. Oh, I’m not very crazy at all. Definitely not. Not usually, at least. 

I’ve never really thought of that. I think pretty much anything can be pretty with the right stars in the sky, though. I’m not really used to seeing a lot of stars, so I’ll definitely have to check it out. Most of the time?! You don’t steal, do you? Or do you just prey on cute, innocent baristas like myself and ask for free pastries? Leave me hanging all you want, of course..but don’t be surprised if you see another person in your seat.  

         No worries. As the club’s senior most member,  I would have turned you away immediately. You’d be much too distracting and would’ve completely thrown off my groove. I’m in a room at the very front of the auditorium, which means I should have the clearest view of the people on stage. It’s the strangest thing that I haven’t noticed you before. I’m most definitely going to aim the spotlight on you now; got to make up for lost time somehow, right? People like you who are willing to step in front of an audience and physically express themselves are incredibly impressive and I don’t not enjoy sitting in on certain performances...I’m just very content supporting the arts from the sidelines. Well, that’s easy enough to change. I’ll make a rebel out of you yet.

         Confession time: I have stolen from the shop. More than once, actually. And I’d be happy to return the two pens I swiped off the counter and in exchange, you leave my spot be until I manage to drag myself out of bed and claim it for myself. You just had to work the morning shift, didn’t you? I’m exhausted just thinking about it, I’m going to be an absolute zombie being there so early. How do you do it?
