Eli blinked and raised his brows at her questionably. A few moments passed as he gave it some thought and his brows creased then as he squinted. Helena somehow remembered where he lived but not much else. But that was progress, right? Well he wasn’t about to get his hopes up, it doesn’t usually end the way he’d like.
"I—uh. Would you like to come in and sit down?" he asked. Helena looked incredibly stressed and he didn’t want to watch her pass out in the hallway.
Helena had this overwhelming need to walk. Anywhere. Everywhere. She couldn't pin point exactly where she was going but her legs sure did and that frightened her, even more so than discovering her abilities. She didn't want to think about it anymore but it was becoming difficult. Crossing her arms over her chest, regretting her choice of wear, she came to an immediate halt. When did she climb these stairs? She hadn't realized she rang the doorbell just before hearing it. "Oh God. Do I run?"
Eli had been sitting in front of his coffee table with a few sheets of paper with notes jotted down on them. Sticking his pen in his mouth he picked up two of the papers and looked them over again, when he heard someone at his door.
He got up to answer it, and as he opened the door he took the pen out of his mouth. His lips remained parted as he stared at Helena with surprise. “Hello,” he greeted warily. “Can I help you?”
