location: hayfield cove community hospital parking lot status: open to all
Glancing at the watch on his wrist, Elias rolled his eyes playfully, adjusting the strap of his messenger bag across his chest as he fiddled with his car key in his free hand. It wasn’t surprising that he’d managed to leave nearly two hours past time- not only was it a normal and near-daily occurrence, but it was one that Elias didn’t mind.
The nurse had nearly reached the staff parking lot when a bit of movement nearby caught his eye. Stepping to the right, he squinted to take in what was happening, relaxing a bit seeing another person. “Can I help you?” Elias called, stepping forward with a smile on his face. “Are you looking for a particular department?”

who: open to all where: the bay community park Xavier tossed the ball across the green, watching as the beautiful golden retriever sprinted after it. The dog, Ace, ran after the ball, snatched it up and trotted back to Xavier, dropping it at his feet for another go. Scooping the ball up, Xavier let it fly again, this time maybe giving it a little too much gusto as it almost hit an innocent bystander. “Shit,” he muttered as Ace of course chased after the ball regardless, invading all type of personal space. “Ace!” Xavier called before he jogged over. “Sorry!” he apologized quickly, grabbing Ace by his harness to keep him at bay. “Guess the old arm’s still got some power,” he chuckled out jokingly.
It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and Elias intended to take as much of it in as he could. Strolling through the park, he kept his hands slid casually into the pockets of his jeans, head practically on a swivel as he took in the scenery surrounding him. Spotting an empty bench nearby he began making his way over, though his journey was short-lived when the sight of a medium-sized, literally smiling dog loping towards him drew his attention. Squatting, Elias laughed as the dog bounded up, giving him a good scratch behind the ears as the dog snooted for the ball. When the owner approached Elias shook his head with a laugh. “Please, don’t worry about it. I’m just as excited to be here as he is. Almost, at least.” He said, standing one the other had a hold of the harness. “I’ll say! Do you play ball? Or, rather, did you?” He asked, making friendly conversation.

location: sandy shores beach & restaurant
Hayfield Cove. It was what it was - it certainly was no Los Angeles, a place that the Barnes family had elite inner circles and socialite status to. Emersyn’s mother was an actress, her father a now corrupt, disgraced businessman and she had left him to hold the torch as she relocated to this here Hayfield Cove. It certainly was what it was - no Beverly HIlls, but she would make it her domain soon enough. The drug dealing socialite was supposed to make a client here, and while the restaurant itself was right on the water (no valet), she found herself taking it all in and realizing it was no Tao in Beverly Hills. However, needs must.
“Excuse me, darling - ” She moved forward, high heels against solid ground. “You wouldn’t happen to be meeting me here, would you? If not - you could always join me at the bar. Who couldn’t use a good drink on the water?” Either way, they could be a prospective client. Who couldn’t use drugs in a town like this?
Even having four years under his belt as a resident of Hayfield Cove, Elias had to admit that the small-town vibe and gorgeous views hadn’t even begun to get old yet. During the rare days he had off, he loved making his way around town- especially frequenting the places located directly against the sea, providing an impossibly more breathtaking view. Having decided to stop at one of his favorite haunts for a meal, Elias was pulled from his own thoughts by the sound of a nearby voice.
“Me?” He asked, glancing around before turning to face to speaker. “Oh, uh- No, I don’t think so? At least, I don’t recall asking anyone to meet me here.” Grinning, Elias extended a hand to the woman in front of him. “Either way, it’s great to meet you. I’m Elias, and you are...?” Tossing a look over at the bar, he gave a shrug. “Sure, why not? I haven’t gotten a table yet, and once you find whoever you are supposed to meet, they’re welcome to join us. What do they look like, I’ll help you look!”

BIO HC’S
Elias was born August 15, 1995, 2:38 AM, in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up, he felt as though something was different about him, separating him from his family and siblings a little more than he would have liked. While his family wasn’t a bad family by any means, they all seemed individually concerned mostly with themselves. It wasn’t as though they didn’t care about anyone else, but in each situation they seemed to have no problem thinking of themselves first.
Elias’ relationship with his parents was rocky at best- his mother seemed and was perpetually unavailable in every sense of the word, and his father was very nearly downright mean. Anyone who didn’t immediately see all things Jack's way was beneath him, and he had no issue nor qualm with letting anyone in range know that fact. As such, Elias’ siblings took to dealing with the familial state in their own ways, which often left them all heading in their own separate directions.
Growing up, Elias spent a lot of time on his own, reading, writing, and playing online games. School always came easily to him, with or without effort. While he paid attention to his studies, studying looked much different to and for him than for most. Friends were often hard to come by, but he found himself hanging on to two or three solid people in his life who he felt he could trust, who he cared about, and who cared about him.
Relationships and romance were always somewhat of a mystery to Elias, and to this day he has only ever been in a couple of relationships, peppered with a few FWB flings. Despite this, Elias is a hopeless romantic at heart. He truly believes in and holds out hope for meeting the one.
After graduating high school, Elias moved immediately into college, where he graduated a semester early with honors. Immediately after graduation he obtained a job in the iCU of the largest hospital in Atlanta. It was there he realized his true love for the emergency sector, and immediately knew he wanted to transition into the Emergency Depa4rtment.
Once his one year was up in the ICU, Elias felt it was time to move on from his hometown, and his family. With his parents’ divorce finally finalized (after a nearly 5-year-long fight), his siblings bean spreading to the corners of the Earth. It was these feelings exactly that pushed him to begin finalizing his preparations.
