a big part of Killing The Cop In Your Head that even a lot of ostensibly progressive adults absolutely do not want to do is controlling the urge to judge children at every opportunity. like oh are some kids hanging out skateboarding in the No Skateboarding Zone at the park? it becomes your business if one runs over your foot. otherwise shut the fuck up. and not just outwardly, you need to tell the critical voice in your head "actually this harmless moment of someone else's everyday life has nothing to do with me and no one has asked for my opinion"

I'd love to see feminists placing women in the role of "default human" from now on as a way of centering them, using feminine pronouns when speaking of people generally. Men have done this for themselves for more than long enough. I want to take maleness out of our language as much as possible, at least in English.
"To each their own" >>> "To each her own"
"Every person should be able to do what he wants" >>> "Every person should be able to do what she wants"
"God in His infinite wisdom..." >>> "God in Her infinite wisdom..."
Etc.
Just speak from the female experience as much as possible. Wash maleness out of your speech, and you'll wash it gradually out of your way of thinking.

I can pinpoint the exact moment I turned on libfems. I can remember my facial expression and everything. Hell, I even remember which hoodie I was wearing.
A video was created on TikTok by a tra saying that women don't get killed for just being women.
So I stitched the video detailing 3 prominent femicide cases in the UK. I wasn't even necessarily angry or nasty about it. I was ruffled at most.
My comments - within minutes - were flooded with people calling me transphobic. I had deliberately and maliciously misinterpreted the initial video. How dare I speak over a trans woman?!
I deleted the video out of fear.
I went through many stages of grief as I processed the response to this video. Guilt at being perceived as transphobic. Upset that I hadn't gotten my point across the way I wanted to.
And then pissed off that I got tone policed when I brought up femicide.
So tras, if you ever find yourself wondering why people like me do not like people like you, this is why.
Women are being spoken over when they speak about sex based violence and oppression and policed to be "inclusive" when sex based violence will never affect trans women in the same way as biological women.

seeing women come out as nonbinary and then start just dressing a certain way. and I just want to tell them that you can not shave and have short hair and not wear makeup and wear androgynous clothes and still be a woman. and the fact that people are trying to sell you the idea that you can’t look that way and still be a woman is misogynistic

idk how much more obvious it can be that gender ideology is inherently antifeminist when the only anti-separatism things i've seen are coming from TRANS ACTIVISTS. i don't think i'm really being dramatic when i say that gender politics have split the left and condemned women yet again.

Watching my friends slowly stop using they/them pronouns and stop binding and stop having eating disorders and start just accepting themselves and their bodies……. Nature is healing

some radfems on tumblr will post the most well worded piece of literature i’ve ever come across in my life, with such a critical observation of our society/patriarchy that should be considered a modern classic literature, and then be like “im high rn sorry if this sounds shit”

when i was a teenager i saw a lot of content against gender roles, people were spreading messages like "clothes and colours are for everyone" in leftist spaces... and now every butch woman is getting asked for her gender identity because people in these spaces think that a person with short hair cant be a real woman... its just misogyny once again

Men cannot be in the presence of female biology without making fun of it. They will directly benefit from our power and mercy, turn around, and dehumanize the very parts that allowed them to breathe.
Basically if I have to hear another man refer to a vagina as an objectifying, insulting phrase like an "Arby's sandwich" or a uterus as a "flesh cage" after having sex or a child being born I think I might simply snap and rip his face straight off like a chimpanzee raised as a human child it's whole life

How is giving a man a blowjob “woman focused” when that action only benefits men. Her actions are not entertaining people are only cheering her on because she’s humiliating herself. Liberal feminists really believe that every single action a woman chooses to make is “empowering”.

an abused wife of the 1700s who’s birthed 16 children and has not been allowed to leave the house for the last 7 years will write in her diary “i am cursed to be a woman. i wish i were a man, so i could be free, and i wouldn’t always be pregnant, aching, and i could explore, see the world, and learn. why did god forsake me with this body?” and you’ll search her name on tumblr and get “he was such a transmasc legend!! trans people have always existed! proof is right here! he suffered because he wanted to transition so bad 😔 this is why gender transition must be a human right, and deadnaming should be illegal. stupid TERFs, complaining about sex-based oppression. that doesn’t even exist.”

If being generalized drives young men to the right, then how come being generalized and hated never drove people of color, LGBT people, and women to the right...?
Oh right, because the right wasn't made for us.
It's not actually white men's PAIN that radicalizes them, it's the lure of power and superiority.
Women and minorities are hurt and generalized every day. You see less of them on the right or in extreme circles because they still empathize with others and don't want them to feel the same pain.
The narrative of a poor, bullied person resorting to hateful groups because they're lonely and hurt is an alluring one, but let's be clear, that's all it is: an alluring narrative.
The reality is that pain doesn't drive people to extremes: a lack of empathy does.
Not caring about the pain of others is what makes most of these men fly to conservative circles: they're promised power and a place where their feelings are prioritized, and a lifetime of socialization that taught them to disregard the feelings of others is what really pushes them there.
This is why the narrative of a poor, young misled boy is flimsy at best. Many right wingers and incels are older men and they come from a variety of backgrounds.
Pain and mistreatment are not what drive young men to right wing circles--older men feeding them dreams of power and superiority are.

This is a reminder to:
Never mention a possible pregnancy/abortion to anyone, especially not through a social media app messaging service such as messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Snapchat, etc.
Delete all period tracking apps and to start tracking using a planner or physical calendar
Book appointments for a form of birth control if possible, or to always carry condoms for yourself and other
Look into sterilization options if that is the route you want to go down (here is a list of 1000 doctors willing to sterilize you without a fight)
Protect your fellow person, protect the women in your life, the queer people, the disabled people, everyone will be affected by this
Form communities. Tell your people that you love them. Protect one another. Check in on one another. None of us are alone.

I wrote an essay about the lack of women in outdoor activity spaces like fishing, hunting, camping, etc and my teacher very adamantly told me I have to rewrite it because there are actually a lot of trans women who do these activities so I can’t say that there’s a lack of women. I’m gonna just replace every instance of the word “woman” with the word “female” and see what he fucking says because I genuinely don’t know what else to do

of course many women are gonna identify as non-binary if you tell them that womanhood is a feeling, something you have to be conected to, to feel and to be conscious of everyday. it's not. and most women actually don't feel anything. "i don't know what feeling like a woman feels like/i don't really feel connected to womanhood most of the time so i am probably not a woman and must be non-binary!" no it's just totally normal. womanhood is not a feeling. we don't go around having a constant womanly feeling and loving everything about womanhood 24/7. this idea is totally made up, and most women wouldn't know what the fuck you're talking about. same goes for "being a woman is being totally happy about your gender" no. not all women like being women, and saying this implies that being a woman is feeling good with all gender rules and stereotypes (because that's the def of gender) and not only it is false, but also sexist. being a woman isn’t a feeling or a connection, it is a reality.
