Something random that pisses me off is how autistic boys throw hands at their moms but not their dads. I have autistic male cousins that need a lot of support but I feel so bad for my aunt because they fucking beat her during their meltdowns, but when the dad is there? They WON’T. And apparently it’s not a unique thing either. Is it because they know they can get away with it? That they can physically overpower her? Anyone with knowledge about this topic please LMK.

I’m on like 2 skincare subreddits and the girls are down bad like it is actually horrifying how much money women are spending just to have skin that looks wet all the time. The serums, tret, retinol, chemical peels, injections, red light therapy masks (which cost like $600-900??), face lifting tape you sleep in etc etc etc. The same questions “how do I get my pores to not show”, “how do I get rid of my nasolabial folds”, “every time I smile or move my face, there are lines how do I correct this���. Like Jesus Christ what are we doing ladies.

There was this one woman who didn’t like her smile lines so she had some kinda procedure to remove them (idk it looked like a peel of some kind?), got botched and ended up with sagging skin, and is now seeking to have an entire face lift. She’s only like 32. At what point do we start having Conversations™️

a big part of Killing The Cop In Your Head that even a lot of ostensibly progressive adults absolutely do not want to do is controlling the urge to judge children at every opportunity. like oh are some kids hanging out skateboarding in the No Skateboarding Zone at the park? it becomes your business if one runs over your foot. otherwise shut the fuck up. and not just outwardly, you need to tell the critical voice in your head "actually this harmless moment of someone else's everyday life has nothing to do with me and no one has asked for my opinion"

I'd love to see feminists placing women in the role of "default human" from now on as a way of centering them, using feminine pronouns when speaking of people generally. Men have done this for themselves for more than long enough. I want to take maleness out of our language as much as possible, at least in English.

"To each their own" >>> "To each her own"

"Every person should be able to do what he wants" >>> "Every person should be able to do what she wants"

"God in His infinite wisdom..." >>> "God in Her infinite wisdom..."

Etc.

Just speak from the female experience as much as possible. Wash maleness out of your speech, and you'll wash it gradually out of your way of thinking.

I can pinpoint the exact moment I turned on libfems. I can remember my facial expression and everything. Hell, I even remember which hoodie I was wearing.

A video was created on TikTok by a tra saying that women don't get killed for just being women.

So I stitched the video detailing 3 prominent femicide cases in the UK. I wasn't even necessarily angry or nasty about it. I was ruffled at most.

My comments - within minutes - were flooded with people calling me transphobic. I had deliberately and maliciously misinterpreted the initial video. How dare I speak over a trans woman?!

I deleted the video out of fear.

I went through many stages of grief as I processed the response to this video. Guilt at being perceived as transphobic. Upset that I hadn't gotten my point across the way I wanted to.

And then pissed off that I got tone policed when I brought up femicide.

So tras, if you ever find yourself wondering why people like me do not like people like you, this is why.

Women are being spoken over when they speak about sex based violence and oppression and policed to be "inclusive" when sex based violence will never affect trans women in the same way as biological women.

seeing women come out as nonbinary and then start just dressing a certain way. and I just want to tell them that you can not shave and have short hair and not wear makeup and wear androgynous clothes and still be a woman. and the fact that people are trying to sell you the idea that you can’t look that way and still be a woman is misogynistic

when i was a teenager i saw a lot of content against gender roles, people were spreading messages like "clothes and colours are for everyone" in leftist spaces... and now every butch woman is getting asked for her gender identity because people in these spaces think that a person with short hair cant be a real woman... its just misogyny once again
