DISCLAIMER: In no way do I condone mass shootings, bullying, murder and suicide. I want to speak out about an issue which may or may not be considered a philosophical question or point. No one ever speaks up about it and I want to bring light to causes/reasons for suicide. I am not suicidal or homicidal. This is purely me speaking out about an issue. I am not justifying bullying, homicide, suicide, or shootings. This is PURELY a philosophical explanation and point of view.
Why are people able to justify bullying only after death?
This is a common instance across criminals and people that had endured bullying in their lifetime.
Suicide is the biggest killer of people under 35 years old. The majority of these suicides under 35 years old are due to mental illness and bullying. Two large causes of mental illness are bullying and hereditary diseases.
Many people who commit suicide in public areas want to prove a point or to traumatize those who have traumatized the victim. This is common in many school shooting instances. I remember seeing a Ted Talk about a man who brought a gun to schoolânot to shoot peopleâbut to kill himself and traumatize his classmates.
Most school shooting perpetrators are bullied for a majority or the height of their school-life. This bullying often ends up causing the victim to have suicidal thoughts or homicidal ideation. Lots of these cases of severe depression donât end up in suicide, however, most of the suicides in people under 18 is a result of constant bullying or trouble at home. Depression can come from being bullied about your body, your mannerisms/the way you do certain things, the way you talk, your grades, mental or physical disorders, mental disabilities, etc. More than half of the bullies that cause suicides under 18 target appearance or mannerisms.
Appearance can mean: how your face is shaped, how your skin looks, how much acne you have, how youâre built, your posture, your weight, your ability to put on makeup, having crooked teeth, having a lazy eye, having big ears, having a crooked nose, having discolored skin, your hair, having dyed hair, having piercings, wearing clothes that arent considered trendy, wearing clothes that people think doesnt fit your body type, your gender appearance, or simply what you wear.
Mannerisms can mean: How you speak, how you cope physically, having Tourettes or any type of tic that doesnât relate to Tourettes syndrome, how you walk, how you stim (autism or any stress disorder that causes you to need to stimulate your nerves and muscles), how you chew, how fast or quickly you eat, how fast you speak, how you hold a pencil, how you act in front of crowds or people you dont know, how you act in a classroom setting or around teachers, your disciplinary record or even autism masking.
So, that raises the question: If it really isnât okay to bully people, then why donât teachers ever intervene unless itâs physical? They might be scared. Do they really care? Sometimes. Are they scared of getting fired? In most instances, yes. Some teachers canât be bothered and donât want to intervene simply because theyâre lazy or donât want to get involved.
So why is revenge unacceptable? Why is standing up for yourself âworthy of disciplinary actionâ? I watched a fight happen freshman year two seats to my left at my lunch table. A tall black boy and a tiny asian boy got into a fist fight the black boy initiated. The tall black boy had been continuously and âjokinglyâ throwing a full, open milk carton at this tiny asian boyâs face. The smaller boy yelled at him and threatened to tell a teacher, and the taller boy snapped and yanked the small boy over the table. I watched a custodian leap over two entire tables and launch himself onto the taller boy who was on top of the tiny boy. The tiny boy just so happened to be in a financially unstable family setting. The tall boy just so happened to live in a rich neighborhood and household with two lawyers as parents. The tiny boy was expelled. The tall boy was given one day of detention.
The tall, rich, black boy began targeting ME when he had no one else to target. Iâm short. I had crooked teeth in freshman year. I wore fingerless skeleton gloves and JoJoâs Bizarre Adventure t-shirts. I was living my happiest life as a theater and film kid. He picked on me and said horrendous things that range from simple teasing to borderline sexual harassment. I messaged the teacher on our schoolâs online platform, and unintentionally messaged the whole class. There was a box you could check off where you could message your teacher individually or message the entire class the teacher was supervising. When a message is sent to someone while you are online, a popup appears with the message, and the name of the sender above it. My teacher was sharing her laptop screen and when I messaged, I had accidentally messaged the entire class and it appeared on the screen. The entire class began to gang up on me and harass me because more than half of the class knew the tall boy and were friends with him.
I switched my class to a different class period. I had never been more humiliated. I cried for days. It gave me PTSD. I was increasingly paranoid sending messages to teachers even if I knew it was an individual direct message. I didnât touch the message box for a year, and I strayed far away from the tall boy. I talked to a counselor and not much could be done about it. The bullying escalated from simple phrases and degrading words to physical assault and sexual harassment in a matter of three years. I endured this all for three years. Now, in my fourth year of high school, I have been left alone by this boy. Unfortunately, I am being targeted by other boys.
Bullying seems to be okay when the person doing it is of high status in the community, or if they have money or parents connected to high careers. The only bullies I have ever seen actually punished for their actions are those who are born into low income settings and arenât well known by their community. This unfair selection causes those who get away with bullying to get more comfortable with what theyâre doing, leading them to worse and worse strategies and methods of doing so, that they cause someone to need to be put on medication or be put into therapy. And STILL, the counselors and administration canât do anything about it. They donât want to be prosecuted by the studentâs parents. They donât want to be sued or fired or judged. Theyâre more afraid of being inconvenienced themselves than their own student community and it shows. Not only are students the problem. Teachers and parents are too.
Students: Students can only really do so much to another person. An older student bullying a younger student may cause the younger student to feel much worse, but I believe this is definitely an age thing. When someone the same age as you is bullying you, you feel much more inclined to ignore them or walk off because theyâre most likely looked down upon by you anyway. Youâre in the same grade as them and somehow theyâve got the mental age of a fifth grader or an 80âs high school jock. Being teased for your actual look certainly doesnât hurt your feelings today as much as being bullied for not wearing a certain brand does. If I can look in the mirror and be okay with myself one time, being bullied for my appearance will not change me. However, being bullied for outfits I put effort into, or spent a lot of money on, just because they arenât caught up with popular style or popular trends simply makes me want to barf. The amount of dread Iâa gen z high school studentâfeel when someone looks me in the eyes and tells me I canât hang out with them because Iâm not wearing lululemon makes me want to die. I used to have my feelings hurt for my appearance but after a while, you get used to it. Now, I look in the mirror with the body of Venus and tell myself itâs gonna be alright as long as I wear the same outfit every day. No matter how many times I wash it, people will still bully me for it. Iâm only ever comfortable in an alternating band shirt, cotton sweatpants, boots, a low bra and a zipped up gray hoodie. Itâs the only thing I havent been bullied for wearing.
While all of you underarmor, lululemon, pinstraight or ice cream cut blondes whine about my outfit, just remember that you spray strawberry poundcake perfume to mask the scent of your fishy pussy and me and my friends have been featured in the âmost-fashionableâ section of the yearbook for three consecutive years. You canât make me feel bad if Iâve gotten used to it. So what would cause me (an example of a common high school outcast) to feel suicidal?
Workload and pressure. I feel the pressure to fit in. When Iâm masking my autism, I can go from howling lyrics in my proudest singing voice in my bedroom to being absolutely silent and straight faced for the entire school day. Itâs what seven consecutive years (middle and high) of bullying does to someone whoâs too lazy to go through the efforts of obtaining a firearm or weapon to kill themself. They just live with it. Thats all they can do. And no one asks about it. No one shows concern. All they do is tell you to suck it up and deal with it because life will only get harder.
Notice how the catalyst for all of this mental trouble was bullying. Iâve cried so much Iâve lost the ability to cry. Iâve been so high-alert and on guard so much that the only thing that kicks me out of my adrenaline is hurting myself.
You know what adults call it? Being a teenage loser. Adults were one of the main reasons I am who I am today. Are they guilty? No. Have they realized how much trouble theyâve caused? No. Are they EVER considered responsible unless itâs physical abuse? No.
So many responses to school shootings are from people that are simply angry at the world and want to continue to make hateful remarks. Victims are shaken up and hurt and angry so they say things like âHe/she was always so weird in class. He/she never spoke. He/she got horrible grades. No wonder they did what they did.â
Are we just going to ignore what caused the weirdness? The silence? The grades? People want to do that because they donât want to face the truth. Why do kids have sudden drops in school performance? Ask the person whoâs tortured them every single school-day since day one. Why are these victims always so silent? Theyâre in what they consider to be an âunsafe environmentâ where they donât feel comfortable doing certain things or talking in. Itâs common when people mask autism. Itâs uncomfortable to show your true self when around strangers, because it will most likely end in bullying so they mask their behavior to âfit inâ with their surrounding crowd. Theyâre already in an unsafe space and theyâre being bullied for responding to that unsafe space in a self-defensive manner.
School systems say bullying isnât tolerated simply because they have to. Bullying IS tolerated at these schools. People just pretend to not notice it until it gets extreme because theyâre too afraid to say something or speak up when itâs actually happening.
How can I STILL be considered weird when Iâve lost weight for my classmates. Iâve stopped talking for my classmates so they canât use anything against me. Iâve become normal for my classmates so the space feels more accustomed to but I STILL canât feel safe.
People will only react to extremes. This is why people hurt others. This is why people hurt themselves for attention. This is why attention seekers exist and why school shootings happen. If youâre going to display a sign on your front door that says in big black letters âBULLYING NOT TOLERATEDâ and then proceed to not enforce the rule at all, how exactly are you preventing anything? How exactly are you a safe school to be at? How are YOU the victim? How are you allowed to feel bad for the losses of your students and structure of community and social hierarchy after school shootings when you let it happen anyway and KNEW it was happening? Why are you all pretending? Why wonât you all admit when youâre wrong about something? Is it public reputation? Question as to if the action was valid or not? If murder is justifiable? If I was locked in a chamber and beat and tortured every single day for seven years straight by someone in a higher position than me, I would finally escape and end up killing the torturer. Wouldnât anyone? People say âit gets to a point!â But doesnât your god damn those who oppose him? Those who go against him? Thatâs a dictator. And everyone else is a flaming hypocrite.
How are you allowed to be pitied when you justifiably got what was coming to you? Trauma? Pain? Guilt? The vision of someone killing themselves because of you? Thatâs why people do it. And for SOME REASON, people feel comfortable bullying still. People still feel comfortable talking shit about the deceased after they took their own life because people were talking shit about them. YOU are the cause. YOU are the catalyst. People like to say everyone else was a victim. The perpetrator or the suicidal mankind is also the victim.
So when you leave those anti TCC comments on the posts of people indulging in the only thing that comforts them, or people expressing their creativity and possible future career (forensic scientist/crime scene investigator/lawyer or anything relating to crime and law) without knowing why the person is how they are,
Then YOU are the cause of their suffering. They are how they are because of people like you. How is it okay to say âKYSâ in the comment section of a member of the true crime community and then feel bad when people actually kill themself? How is it okay to whine about those who the earth has loss and has had to mourn when bullying is one of the ROOT CAUSES of these crimes and these instances of suicide? How are you going to devote all of your time to bullying someone like theyâve hurt you just because they walk or talk weird or dress unusually? THINK before you speak.
Quit passing gun laws and maybe provide better mental healthcare and ACTUALLY enforce the zero tolerance rule in schools. The only reason people are buying guns for bad reasons is because they have been hurt in some way. Whether it be rape, bullying, or being born with a mental illness or developing one, people seem to stray away from healthcare and simply target those people more just because they arenât âcommonâ in society. Parents are allowed to mourn their children. Students and other people in the world are allowed to mourn their classmates and fellow human beingsâbut when you contribute to bullying, ESPECIALLY after someone has died, you shouldnât be allowed to mourn anyone that has died to anything suicide related or suicidal/homicidal ideation catalyzed because you actively contribute to the reason people do what they do. Stop being ignorant and maybe be polite for once. Stop ignoring all of your mistakes and maybe APOLOGIZE to those you have willingly hurt. Quit bullying a different person every single day like itâs vital to your human routine because you never know which one of them might bite back. Be a fucking human being.

Is it okay to consume and endorse art made by people who have done terrible things?
Well, hereâs the thing. Iâm not going to say âit dependsâ. Iâm not really afraid of any backlash. Cancel culture is dead. Youâre not going to change anything by boycotting an artist when you know damn well no one else will follow in your footsteps but a few people.
Thereâs no true reason to boycott anything. What will it get you? Inconvenience. Unless every single fan is boycotting an artist, nothing will change. You have free will. Do whatever you want. Itâs not against the law to like things like music controversial people have made. Listen to Blood On The Dance Floor. It doesnât matter who Dahvie Vanity is. The music is still good. It doesnât matter what itâs talking about. Listening to music is only bad if you relate to bad lyrics.
Itâs like saying youâre a school shooter for listening to Foster The Peopleâs âPumped Up Kicksâ or saying youâre a gangster for listening to âGangstaâs Paradiseâ because no you arenât. People are retarded for claiming that. When I get told listening to controversial artists like Marilyn Manson and Mindless Self Indulgence is bad and that Iâm a horrible person for supporting their music through streams, I laugh and walk away. One person isnât the cause of an artistâs million dollar revenue. One person to an artist is worth a penny. You donât matter. Youâre not special. Do whatever the fuck you want, because living doesnât last forever and you donât know whether thereâs an afterlife or not.

John Straffen
England's longest serving prisoner.
Trigger Warnings; child murder, loose mention of animal abuse and sexual assault
Overview:
Dates, Victims and Locations:
15th of July, 1951 - Brenda Goddard, (5) - Bath, Somerset.
8th of August, 1951 - Cicely Batstone, (9) - Bath, Somerset.
29th of April, 1952 - Linda Bowyer, (5) - Farley Hill, Berkshire.
Perpetrator:
Full Name: John Thomas Straffen
Date of Birth and Date of Death: 27th of February, 1930 - 19th of November, 2007 (77)
Place of Origin: Hampshire, England;
spent 6 years of his childhood in British-India; then settled in Bath, Somerset.
Extra Information: Throughout his life, he had a mental age of 6-8. His older sister was a "High Grade Mental Defective". He had no understanding of "right or wrong". He had an IQ of 58; the average human IQ is 100 or 85-115. He was known to have strangled 5 chickens belonging to the father of a girl he had sexually assaulted in 1947 at age 17. Straffen and the father argued frequently, he saw it as a revenge act. In early 1947 he stole items from peoples houses and hid them, he had no joy in selling and profiting, he just hid the items or discarded them. Seemingly doing it for fun with no real use for the items he stole. He had wide and severe damage to his cerebral cortex, which was possibly attributed to encephalitis he had whilst in British-India before the age of 6.
Criminal information:
Crimes Committed (in total):
3 counts of Murder
Assault
Burglary
Animal Abuse
Theft
Sexual Assault
Petty Theft
Escape from Confinement
Planned Escape from Confinement
Sentences:
Two years probation; October 1938 - Theft
Twenty months at HM Prison Horfield; Autumn 1947 - Burglary Sent to a lower security hostel in Winchester; July 1949
Sent back to HM Prison Horfield for 6 months; Febuary 1950 - Petty Theft
HM Prison Horfield, Bristol.
Life in Psychiatric Ward at Broadmoor Hospital; October 1951 - 2 Counts of Murder
Broadmoor Psychiatric Hospital, Berkshire.
Life sentence, formally a death sentence; August 1952 - One count of Murder, taking past two in account
HM Prison Frankland, the place he died, County Durham.
Motive:
Straffen had an intense hatred for the police as he believed that instead of solving real crime, they were purely focusing on him, targeting and arresting him for petty crimes. He was quoted saying he wanted to give the police "something to really do" when asked why he committed the murders. He also wanted to cause as much inconvenience for the police as possible. This shows that he didn't see the girl's as actual living breathing people, but as pawn's to use and throw about at will.
The Murders:
Brenda Goddard:
Straffen visited the cinema, as he did every Sunday whilst unaccompanied, and walked past Goddard's house.
He saw Goddard picking flowers, they engaged in a small conversation. He then stated: "I know a place where there are even more flowers; they're in that wood. Shall I show you?" to which she eagerly agreed.
He led her to a field, lifted her over a fence into a copse, to which she fell and hit her head.
She was unconscious when he strangled her to death. He was frustrated and confused when she didn't scream. He then repeatedly bashed her head against a large stone.
Straffen made no effort to hide the body and continued to the cinema unbothered.
Several clipped white convolvulus flowers were found at the crime scene.
white convolvulus flowers.
Cicely Batstone:
Straffen encountered Batstone at the cinema at a showing of "Tarzan and The Jungle Queen".
He engaged the child in conversation, offering then to take her to a showing of the western movie "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon".
They both took the bus to the other cinema to see the movie.
Shortly after leaving the bus, Straffen took her to a meadow and strangled her to death.
The last film she watched.
Linda Bowyer:
Two hours before her murder, Straffen had escaped from Broadmoor Hospital, the news hadn't reached the nearby villages yet.
He encountered Bowyer on her bike.
Straffen lured the child to the field, strangled her and walked off.
He then walked to a nearby house, knocked and asked for a cup of tea and directions to Wokingham.
Linda's mother noted her disappearance at 7:30pm, and her body was found at 5:20am the next morning.
Her body was found in a bluebell Copse.

Bluebell Flower.
Additional Information:
When apprehended, he was asked if he had committed any crimes whilst having escaped, he said no. News had not spread about Bowyers murder when he was being interviewed, but he told the interviewer "I did not murder the little girl on the bicycle". Autopsy Results from the three murders came out with distinct similarities between each, with certain points of the neck being targeted on each body. But there are also some conflicts. Witness reports said they heard a girl scream at 7pm, which was after Straffen was apprehended by Broadmoor Hospital Officers. On Bowyer's neck was nail marks, where someone's nails had dug into her skin whilst she was being strangled, but John Straffen was known as a severe nail biter. Maybe he'd decided not to bite his nails near the time he took her life. Straffen had admitted to the murders of Goddard and Batstone, but not Bowyer. Why?? Could it allude to his poor way of thinking and low IQ? He had a mental age of about 6-8 throughout his life so logically he couldn't have thought out a good, properly thought out plan to outrun the police. Though, he could've known that a third murder count would get him sent to prison, so he could've thought that by denying it straight away without it being mentioned, he would get a lesser sentence, or simply sent back to Broadmoor, as he was being 'honest'.

INFO POST ON DANIEL MARSH
(no one talks about him)
On April 14th, 2013, Daniel would leave his mothers home early in the morning to search for a home with open windows or doors in Davis, California. He would later come upon the home of Claudia (76) and Oliver (87). Daniel cut open the window screen, invading their home, and made his way into their bedroom where they were asleep. After a few minutes of watching them sleep, Daniel would stab them to death, with Claudia sustaining 67 stab wounds, and Oliver 61. Daniel would then dissect, eviscerate, and mutilate their dead bodies. The couples bodies were discovered the next day, but there would be no arrest for Daniel until June due to his extensive planning, no DNA, fingerprints, footprints, or any evidence at the crime scene. Even though the idiot almost got away with murder at 15, he would become a suspect after bragging to his friends about what he did. Daniel was then interrogated and confessed to the crimes, where he would tell investigators the murders gave him a feeling of pure happiness which he felt for weeks. Daniel had a long history of violent and antisocial behaviors, as well as mental health issues. He had also been fantasizing about murdering people since the age of 10 and aspired to become a serial killer. Daniel was given the maximum of 52 years to life, which was given to him at 17 years old in 2014. Daniel will be allowed by California law to be paroled after serving 25 years, when he is 42.

I sort of semi- disagree with the âAndre loved Cal, Cal loved the idea of Andre, what Andre could do for him, etc.â sentiment. I know what youâre saying, and this little tangent is not about you specifically, but your post just reminded me of this, and I just want to know if anyone agrees or if im retarded. Anyway
While I feel like Cal is super sick and manipulative, I also think the recent push for Cal to be abusive/a user who only thinks of himself, and doesnât have any genuine love/feelings seems to be a bit over the top. And I think itâs mostly reactionary to the previous idea of âCal was a sweet precious angel who was persuaded by his evil best friend.â Recently that opinion seems to be dying, which im glad for, but now i feel like itâs being replaced with the exact opposite thing.
Anyway, nothing against you or anyone else personally, itâs just something Iâve noticed. Everyone can have their own interpretation, but I do suspect this recent rise in âCal actually used Andre/ didnât care about him in a genuine way,â is only getting popular because itâs reactionary + weâre influencing each other now.
i donât agree with it either!!! i was inspired to write it by two messages i saw on the unsent project when i searched their names (iâll include them beneath)!!! i truly believe they loved each other a lot and it was heavily reciprocated.
sorry if it seemed any other way!! i donât believe it đđ

The more Cal mentioned ending it instead of running away during Zero Day, the more Andre would practice it. He would take an empty gun and place the tip on his throat or chin, finding out the best angle so he wouldnât have to struggle and suffer much when the moment came. Of course, he knew it wouldnât compare to the real thing, when the gun would be hot to the touch and stain his skin black where it touched him. He knew it wouldnât compare to the anxiety he would feel as he pulled the trigger and his hand jerked from the force. He knew it would never compare to the eternity of silence after, to his impact on the world he would never get to see.
