I bet octopuses think bones are horrific. I bet all their cosmic horror stories involve rigid-limbs and hinged joints.

⚔️ 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Hellish Reaper
Weapon (glaive), rare (requires attunement) ___ A target hit with this weapon takes an extra 1d4 fire damage from the attack. If your alignment is evil or if you’re a tiefling, you’re considered a hellish creature for the purposes of this weapon’s properties, and the fire damage increases to 1d6. The weapon has 4 charges, or 6 charges if you’re hellish. It regains all expended charges daily at dawn. When a creature makes a melee attack against you and you’re holding the scythe, you can use your reaction to expend 1 of its charges to cause the weapon to emit a hellish flare. When you do so, roll a d4, or a d6 if you’re hellish. The triggering attack roll takes a penalty equal to the number rolled. If the attack hits, the damage dealt by it is reduced by twice the number rolled on the d4 or d6. If the attack misses, the attacker takes fire damage equal to twice the number rolled instead. 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚. This weapon is cursed, and becoming attuned to it extends the curse to you unless you’re hellish. While cursed, you gain the following flaw: “Fire makes me anxious.” ___ ✨ Patrons get huge perks! I want to write a book called “your character dies in the woods” that details all the pitfalls and dangers of being out on the road & in the wild for people without outdoors/wilderness experience bc I cannot keep reading narratives brush over life threatening conditions like nothing is happening.
I just read a book by one of my favorite authors whose plots are essentially airtight, but the MC was walking on a country road on a cold winter night and she was knocked down and fell into a drainage ditch covered in ice, broke through and got covered in icy mud and water.
Then she had a “miserable” 3 more miles to walk to the inn.
Babes she would not MAKE it to that inn.

💎 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Bangles of the Wind’s Blessing
Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement) ___
While wearing these bangles on either your wrists or ankles, you’re always under the effects of the “feather fall” spell. In addition, you can use a bonus action to tap the bangles together to gain a flying speed of 30 feet. The effect lasts for up to 1 hour, all at once or in several shorter flights, each one using a minimum of 1 minute from the duration. You can end the effect early using a bonus action. The bangles regain any expended flight time daily at dawn.
The bangles’ other benefits depend on where they’re worn. You can use an action to doff or don the bangles.
𝘼𝙣𝙠𝙡𝙚𝙨. While wearing both the bangles on your ankles, wind graces your every step. Your walking speed increases by 10 feet, the maximum distance you can jump is doubled, and you can hover up to 2 feet above solid ground. If you have a flying speed, your flying speed also increases by 10 feet.
𝙒𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨. While wearing both the bangles on your wrists, a gentle wind swirls around you. The range of your unarmed strikes increases by 5 feet (pummeling a target with forceful winds), and once on each of your turns when you hit a Large or smaller target with a melee weapon attack or unarmed strike, you can push that creature up to 15 feet away from you. In addition, the normal range of your thrown weapon attacks increases by 15 feet.
𝙤𝙩𝙝. While wearing one bangle on your wrist and the other on your ankle of the same side, you can summon a barrier of buffeting wind at a moment’s notice. When you or a creature within 5 feet of you are hit by a weapon attack, you can use your reaction to impose a −5 penalty to the triggering attack roll, potentially causing the attack to miss. You must be able to see the attacker. ___

"Hey I wanna play a game where lovecraftian horrors attack the titanic! And the PCs have to desperately try to survive!"
"Woah! That sounds like an absolutely awesome module for Call of Cth-"
"I think D&D 5e would be the best system for this."
#i thought this was a meme for a suppliment brand#like idk if it would be made out of eldritch horror or make you into one but i thought that was where it was going#tabletop kickstarter is still cool tho
