#i grew up in a family INTENSELY into diet and weight loss culture#the happiest they ever were with my body was when i experienced extreme weight loss after illness and a bout of severe depression#but i couldnt find peace with my new thin body#certain styles looked better on me than before#but my body felt weak and alien to me#i realized that i genuinely feel my best mentally and physically and even feel hottest when im chubby#i felt so much better after gaining weight and it helped me get such a better perspective on body positivity#i found the weight that feels best to my body and i love that i know that about myself

#in my town im indifferent to them#theyre mostly just kinda silly sometimes#but the next town over where i used to work retail has a very diff tourist population#and in that town i think it should be legal to hunt them for sport#theyre rude and messy and loud and get too drunk and destroy our local nature reserves#every year there is a measurable negative effect on our air quality linked to their peak visiting times bc of how much chaos they sow#thats not a joke or exaggeration#my parents live about ten miles from the tourist hub and not only can upu see the haze#it literally makes their house noticeably dirtier and we have to keep doors and windows closed in the summer#bc of how filthy these fucks make the air#and im not even getting to how many people die every year bc of numbskull tourists in our area#i would ardently support a ban on ATVs in my area bc it would drastically improve air quality#and drastically reduce the annual tourist-related death toll my local gov has basically accepted as the cost of doing business#and did i mention theyre rude?#hunted for sport i say

Baked beans are an American dish adapted from a similar dish first made by native Americans and baked beans were first canned in the US and then brought to Britain where the British decided to start putting them on toast and calling them a British food. And I’ve started to realize that some British people think that we think beans on toast is strange because we don’t have baked beans. When in fact we’ve had baked beans this whole time. We brought the baked beans over there. We just think it’s mildly confusing that Brits put them on toast.
