   “ But I can’t, so it doesn’t m-matter! ” When Alejandro said he could possibly tell her if he happened to be feeling unhappy, Giovanna nodded her head a bit, keeping her gentle gaze focused on him. “ Good. I want you to tell me, o-okay? Even if you think it’s silly o-or something, I want to know. ” She couldn’t bear the thought of him feeling anything but good things. Nodding her head in an affirmative manner, she continued to play with his curls while speaking. “ Really. W-Well, I– I told them I love you and– and that I’m feeling the happiest I’ve b-been in a long time … Mamma wrote back, saying she’s v-very happy. So happy that she even baked two pies after reading my letter! ”

“I mean, you could try,” Alejandro replied with a laugh. He really wouldn’t throw her in if she didn’t want him to, but it would be fun. When she insisted that he tell her when he wasn’t happy, he nodded. “Okay, I’ll make sure to tell you.” He could understand why she would want to know. He wanted to know when she wasn’t happy, but he didn’t normally open up to people like that. He trusted Giovanna, though, so it couldn’t be so hard. He smiled as she continued to play with his curls, leaning his head towards her. A bright smile crossed his face. “I’m glad you told them about me. And I’m even more glad that they’re happy for you. I’ve told my parents about you, too, and they’re glad that I’m happy.”

 “ It just isn’t, a-and you know it! You’re laughing because you know! ” Giggling at the sound of his laughter, a bright smile appeared on Gigi’s lips, fading when Alejandro pressed a gentle kiss to her lips — which she quickly returned. When the kiss was broken, Giovanna left a few small pecks to his lips before truly pulling away. “ But … But if you weren’t happy, you would t-tell me, right? ” There was only so much she could do to ensure his happiness, but she would still try if necessary. Blushing deeply at his last couple of words, the smile from not to long ago returned to her lips.  “ R-Really? ” She whispered, a hand moving upwards to play with his hair. “ I-I love kissing you too, and j-just being with you … I wrote a letter to my parents a little while back, and m-mentioned you in it. ”

“It’s fun!” He protested, still laughing. “If you could pick me up, I would let you throw me in.” Alejandro enjoyed the way she kissed him, especially when she left little pecks on his lips afterward. It was so sweet, and he just loved the way she was with him. “If I were unhappy, then I guess I could tell you about it.” He wouldn’t want to bother her with whatever negative things he was feeling, but since she had trusted him with her negative feelings, it didn’t bother him so much. He just wasn’t used to being anything but positive around other people. He smiled as she played with his hair, though his brows raised when she mentioned the letter to her parents. “Really? And what did you say about me?” He asked, intrigued by the concept of her parents knowing about him.

   “ Yes you are, you want to t-throw me into the pool! How am I supposed to enjoy that? ” The girl complained while laughing, finding that it was impossible not to even if the thought of being pushed wasn’t very appealing. Hearing him sigh, Giovanna furrowed her eyebrows as a sudden wave of concern came upon her. “ But … B-But you’re happy now, right? I … I feel comfortable around you too. V-Very comfortable. ” Which was rare for her. Slowly, she pressed a small kiss to his cheek in a comforting manner. “ Still, y-you’re more experienced than me … M-Me? Well, I get nervous because … ” She paused, shrugging lightly. “ Because I want t-to be good enough for you,  even when it comes to t-things like this. ” 

“You would enjoy it because it’s fun. Right? I would throw you and you would be in the air and then you would be in the water. How is that not fun?” He asked, trying not to laugh, but failing. When she asked if he was happy then, he nodded. “Of course I’m happy. I’m getting to be here with you and I can just lean over and do this whenever I want,” he said, leaning over and kissing her gently. He couldn’t see how he could be unhappy in that moment. When she brought up him being more experienced than her, he nodded. “That’s true, but that doesn’t effect the way I see you. I love kissing you and talking to you and getting to touch you. You’re already good enough for me.”

   “ T-T-Throw me in?! No! No, that’s mean, you’re not mean! ” Gigi exclaimed with a laugh, quickly using both hands to cover her face as if attempting to hide from him, though it wasn’t long before her arms returned to their spot around his neck. “ I don’t? Then … Then why don’t you try to explain it to me? I-I don’t think I’ve ever seen you feeling anything but happy. ” Which was both endearing and strange. She knew for a fact that it was impossible for someone to be happy all the time, and yet Alejandro seemed to always have a smile on his face. At his question, the brunette shrugged lightly and turned her gaze away. “ Because … B-Because I don’t have much experience with kisses. I still get nervous s-sometimes. ”

“Oh, come on. I’m not mean! And throwing you in could be fun for both of us. You might enjoy it,” Alejandro replied, laughing when she covered her face. Of course he wouldn’t just throw her in off guard, but he was still hoping to convince her that it would be fun. When she asked him to explain his happiness to her, he sighed. “Okay... I guess my happiness before was just superficial, and now it’s deeper than that. It’s more like feeling content and like there’s nothing missing. And I just feel comfortable around you.” That was the best way he could describe how happy she made him feel, and he hoped that it would suffice. He rarely was ever unhappy, but still. He figured it mattered. “Well, you have more experience now since being with me. But why do you get nervous?”

“ M-Maybe we should try it sometime … If you want to, that is. It might not be as fun as the pool was, but still. ” Wrapping her arms around his neck as she felt Alejandro press kisses up to her lips, Gigi kept a smile on her lips, letting him continue to cover spots of her skin with his lips. “ Really? That’s— T-That’s nice. I like making you h-happy. ” Which was a strange but nice feeling. She enjoyed being the reason he smiled, or one of those reasons. Pecking his lips slowly, Giovanna nodded her head affirmatively. “ Very glad. I-I thought I was dreaming, o-or that that’s what dreams are usually like … ” Brushing the tip of her nose against his, Gigi opened her eyes slightly, furrowing her eyebrows at him. “ I’m sorry I’m not a good kisser. ”

“Yeah, I want to,” Alejandro replied with a nod. “And we can always do the pool again if you want. It was fun swimming with you and getting to kiss you. Though, I might have to throw you in this time,” he teased. “I don’t think you know how happy I am when I’m with you.” He was happy most of the time anyway, but around Giovanna it was so different. That happiness meant something, but it was hard to describe. He smiled when their noses brushed together. Though, when she apologized for not being a good kisser, he kept himself from laughing. “You are a good kisser. At least, I like your kisses. Why do you think you’re not good at it?”

     Even though it was a silly promise, a smile grew on her lips when Alejandro did it anyway, making the brunette giggle quietly. “ I like that promise … K-Kiss me in the shower? But– Do you think we’d both fit in t-there? ” She knew he was only teasing her, yet Gigi was somewhat intrigued by the idea. Surely enough it would make her blush, as she always did whenever he was near, but it also sounded funny and cute. Letting him continue kissing her skin, Giovanna kept her eyes closed as she spoke. “ I-I don’t think I will ever not want that … I love kissing you. I also love it when you kiss me. ” She whispered with a small smile on her lips, fingers continuing to play with his hair. 

Alejandro loved hearing her laugh, and he was glad that he was funny enough to get her to do it. “Yeah, why not? I think we could both fit in there. You never know until you try it,” he replied, chuckling again. He did like the idea, though, and he obviously wouldn’t be opposed to doing it. “You’ve made me very happy, then.” He kissed up towards her lips before pressing his lips to hers. It was a gentle, sweet kiss, his lips just only touching hers. “See? I guess I really do love kissing you,” he replied, pecking her lips. “Are you glad that I was your first kiss?”

   “ C-Can you promise that? ” She knew there was no such thing as promising he would never tire of kissing her, but right now, it was what Gigi hoped for. A part of her wondered how come she was able to exist for so long without having known him, not to mention having kissed him. It was as if Alejandro had become a part of her daily life, and she had nothing to complain about. It had been a long time since she last felt this happy. “ You aren’t? N-Never ever? What if I need to shower o-or something? ” Turning her face to the side so as to give him more skin to kiss, a smile grew on her lips while her eyes stayed closed. “ No, n-never … I don’t think I could ever tire of k-kissing you, ” she murmured. “ I-It’s one of my favorite things to do. ”

“Of course I can.” Alejandro smiled, knowing that it was kind of a ridiculous promise, but he didn’t mind making it. “I promise I won’t tire of kissing you.” He loved her, and there was no changing that for him. His relationship with her was the most cherished thing he had at the moment, and kissing her was only one of the things he wanted to do for her. He chuckled against her skin. “Then I guess I would have to take a break. Unless you want me to kiss you in the shower, because I could do that,” he replied teasingly. He continued to kiss her neck and jaw, wanting to make sure he had covered the entire area. “I have to admit I would be sad if you didn’t want to kiss me anymore.”

A small smile appeared on her lips when he mentioned liking the fact that he was the one who gets to touch her. Although maybe some people wouldn’t understand, Giovanna found that she didn’t really care about other people doing the same — not when she had Alejandro. As her tongue moved with his, Gigi lifted her hands so that they could comb through his hair as she let the kiss continue for a few more seconds, slightly pulling away after a while. “ D-Do you think you will ever tire of k-kissing me? Because … I-I don’t think I would like that. ” She murmured with a soft giggle, the tip of her nose brushing against his before her lips pressed tiny, quick pecks to Alejandro’s.

Alejandro smiled into the kiss when she combed her fingers through his hair, leaning in closer to her. He enjoyed the way she kissed him, finding that he just wanted more and more of it. When she pulled away, he blinked open, chuckling at her question. “I don’t think I could ever tire of kissing you.” He nudged her nose with his, still smiling softly. “I guess it’s a good thing that I’m not going to stop kissing you.” He returned the tiny pecks that she gave him, even the quick feeling of her lips was good to him. He kissed away from her lips and up her jaw, his hand moving to the back of her neck. “Are you ever going to get tired of kissing me?”

“ O-Of course I don’t mind! It’s … You’re the only person I feel comfortable when being touched by. I-I don’t mind at all. ” If she could, Gigi would definitely like to spend an entire day just lying in his arms. After such a long time of not letting anyone near her, it was almost like magic whenever Alejandro touched her; that’s just how much she’d missed physical affection, though it took meeting him to finally realize it. Feeling his tongue run across her mouth, the brunette parted her lips and let the tip of her own brush against his, hands moving away from their spot so that she could wrap her arms around his neck.

“Good, I’m glad. I like being the one who gets to touch you.” Even just holding her or touching her arm made him happy. It felt like he had lived too long without her, and he really didn’t want to think about anything before her. There was just his life now. He sighed contentedly when she opened her mouth and their tongues brushed against each other. He liked getting to kiss her like that, all tongue and lips and intimacy. He wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Alejandro heard her little squeak and he chuckled, enjoying the sweet sound. “I’m glad that you don’t mind me hugging you like this.” He knew that she wouldn’t let just anyone do this, and that made him feel pretty special. He had had a feeling that Giovanna loved him too, but he hadn’t wanted to scare her off with saying it too soon. He was relieved that hadn’t been the case. He deepened the kiss, slipping his tongue out and running it across her lips, asking for entrance. He loved that she wanted to keep him close. He wasn’t going to go anywhere, but he loved that she wouldn’t let him even if he tried.

It just felt right to have her in his arms, and he was glad that she would let him touch her. He smiled at the kiss to his cheek, thinking it was sweet of her to think of her best friend. Isabella clearly meant a lot to her. When she said that him telling her that he loved her wasn’t too much, he relaxed, smiling again. He felt her brush her nose against his and he chuckled. “You do?” He had been scared to say it in case she wouldn’t say it back, but hearing it from her was amazing. He kissed her again, unable to help himself and needing to feel her lips against his.

    When he gave her body a gentle squeeze, Giovanna let out a small squeak, then laughed at the funny sound she made without really meaning to. She noticed how he seemed to relax with her answer to whether or not saying those three words was too much, and that made her smile. She wouldn’t have wanted him to feel bad for voicing his feelings, nor did she want him to believe Gigi didn’t feel the same way. “ I do, mhm. ” She confirmed with a nod of her head, stopping when she felt his lips pressed against hers once again. Her hands slowly moved to the back of his neck while she returned the kiss, trying to keep him close to her.

I like you so much it means I can hug you.” When she agreed that he was her favorite person as well, besides Izzy, he nodded, figuring that was fair. “I don’t mind sharing it with her, or coming after her. She’s your friend, and probably more like your family. It makes sense.” He had no issue with any of that, especially since she had known Izzy for so long. When she asked him if he loved her, for clarification, he nodded. It hadn’t meant to come out, but it just felt right in the moment. “Yes…I love you. I’m sorry, is that too much?”

    His sudden hug made her burst into laughter. “ Does that mean you can hug me forever? I-I’d like that! ” She exclaimed with a bright smile, more than happy to be held by him. Giovanna still struggled with physical contact, though Alejandro was a major exception to that. In fact, she was pretty sure she could live without other people’s touch as long as she could feel his. When he commented on not minding sharing the title of favorite person with Isabella, Gigi nodded her head and pressed a kiss to the male’s cheek. “ Good, I-I really don’t want to pick between you two … You are both my favorite. No, it’s not t-too much, ” the girl murmured softly, brushing the tip of her nose against as she paused for a moment. “ I love you, too. I really do. ”

Pausing the gentle pecks she planted on his lips, Gigi’s eyes widened at the three words. “ You … Y-You love me? ” She whispered, eyes focusing on him.
