admittedly, this is the hardest song translation i’ve done so far. there is a high degree of poeticism to the lyrics that makes the translating process unnecessarily convoluted (never said it wasn’t fun though)

黄昏のメロディア (tasogare no melodia) - lyrics&translation

hello! this is my first post on this account, but i’ll keep it short. i’m going to post my future projects here, mostly translations of various tsukipro songs. english is not my first language and i am not fluent in japanese yet, so if you spot any mistakes by all means tell me! the ask box is always open. 

regarding this particular translation, tasogare no melodia has always been my favourite growth song - it perfectly encapsulates what i love about the unit and is, first and foremost, a beautiful piece of music. the lyrics make me feel a particular sort of way every time i listen to it, so i hope i managed to convey that with my translation too!
