Asus ProArt Professional Review the collection line and buyer's guide
Introduction
We cover a lot of the gaming monitor market here at TFTCentral, and it's always a fun and interesting line of displays to try out and review. A large part of our audience is also interested in this space. However, not everyone is looking for a high refresh rate display, and not everyone needs a modern gaming console, RGB lighting, blur reduction, VRR support, etc. There are people who may need a monitor for their work and professional use, or important work in color, photography, content creation, or color management. There are a few popular lines of monitors available in this professional space, and Asus is a manufacturer that invests heavily in this market. Professional 'asus Proart' displays have been around for years, but there has been a good selection of new models announced and released recently, as well as some exciting new technologies in this space. Asus asked us to talk about its ProArt line and gave an overview of the current, recently released ProArt line. We think this will be a useful guide for anyone considering a new monitor for professional use, or anyone interested in displays and the latest technology with a different orientation than your typical gaming monitors. We will provide an overview of some of the new models and talk about the features, benefits and sales of each.
Quick summary
Here is a brief description of the models discussed and compared in this article, with more information below in the corresponding section:
PA32DC OLED monitor
31.5″ 4K with OLED panel. Intended for content creators in the workflow and design as well as in production. OLED panels boast good quality, good blacks, fast response times and reduced pixel density. This display has a sub-pixel RGB color scheme unlike many other OLED options, and the features and controls are excellent. These include built-in paint for hardware design, carrying handles, and two plug options. PA32UCG Mini LED Monitor

Mass Scaling with the NCS 1000 Series
Increase capacity, control, and visibility across your network with the NCS 1000 Series.
Cisco NCS 1000 Series
Simplify and automate operations while scaling dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) services with great flexibility.
Cisco NCS 1002
Respond quickly to increased traffic and new services. Deliver industry-leading capacity and density in a smaller footprint. Upgrade your infrastructure with
Cloud Scale Networking hardware and software powered by Cisco IOS XR
to get the agility, automation, and simplicity you need for your network.
Last year we introduced the NCS 1004 at OFC and had a live demonstration on our stand of the NCS 1004 working flawlessly up to 500G. We've come a long way since then. A customer is successfully running his 600G on a live network. The NCS 1004 has achieved an underwater range of over 10,000 km with cutting-edge performance. We have been recording orders for him since December, and we expect to deliver his NCS 1004 to our customers by the end of the first quarter. It's still a month away.
What we and our customers have realized over the past year is that the true value of the NCS 1004 lies in its multi-transport capabilities and ability to adapt to any use case while providing the highest spectral efficiency. is. We have conducted many experiments to determine this. Field testing conducted using NCS 1004 included:
• Different ranges: over 10,000 km for submarine cables, 700 km to 1550 km for long-distance terrestrial networks, and subway networks up to 500 km
• Different canal networks: 50- GHz networks and flex grid networks
• Carrier spacing Optional: Single-carrier and multicarrier superchannel deployment models
• Multivendor: NCS 1004 channels on Cisco NCS 2000 line systems and as aliens on third-party ROADM line systems.
