The Final Three
Josef Müller-Brockmann
Paula Scher
Stefan Sagmeister
How will I choose?
I really like how I can take any one of these designers and design my page accordingly. All designers are extremely interesting so this will be a tough one.
Josef Müller-Brockmann
“Josef Müller-Brockmann (May 9, 1914 – August 30, 1996) was a Swiss graphic designer and teacher. He studied architecture, design and history of art at both the University and Kunstgewerbeschule in Zürich. In 1936 he opened his Zurich studio specialising in graphic design, exhibition design and photography. From 1951 he produced concert posters for the Tonhalle in Zurich. In 1958 he became a founding editor of New Graphic Design along with R.P. Lohse, C. Vivarelli, and H. Neuburg. In 1966 he was appointed European design consultant to IBM.”
Paula Scher
“Paula Scher (born October 6, 1948, Washington D.C) is an American graphic designer, painter and art educator in design, and the first female principal at Pentagram, which she joined in 1991.”
Stefan Sagmeister
“Stefan Sagmeister (born August 6, 1962) is a New York-based graphic designer and typographer. Sagmeister co-founded a design firm called Sagmeister & Walsh Inc. with Jessica Walsh in New York City. He has designed album covers for Lou Reed, OK Go, The Rolling Stones, David Byrne, Jay Z, Aerosmith and Pat Metheny.”
I have decided to choose Josef Müller-Brockmann as the designer in which I will write my essay about.

Smart Watches and Others
“A smartwatch is a computerized wristwatch with functionality that goes beyond timekeeping. While early models can perform basic tasks, such as calculations, translations, and game-playing, 2010s smartwatches are effectively wearable computers. Many run mobile apps, using a mobile operating system.”
Many of my friends have introduced themselves into the FitBit! Technology has moved its way in, the digital world has found the physical world!
A fascinating wrist accessory! Although, entirely difficult to know if they work correctly.

Question 4
How much is the Google Glasses?
“If the $1,500 price tag for Google Glass is a budget buster for you, don't give up hope just yet. When the wearable gadget arrives on the consumer market it could cost as little as $299 according to Topology Research's Jason Tsai, as reported by The China Post and Phone Arena.”

Question 3
How much is a pair of Google glasses?
“Still, this new Project Glass model is better at addition than subtraction. While features have been added, the price hasn't dropped. At $1,500 (£1,000, about AU$1,589), Google's experimental wearable is exorbitantly priced for the average person. It's also best if you're an Android, not an Apple person.”

Question 1
What is meant by Google Glass?
“Google Glass is a headset, or optical head-mounted display, that is worn like a pair of eyeglasses. It was developed with the mission of producing a ubiquitous computer. Google Glass displayed information in a smartphone-like hands-free format. Wearers communicated with the Internet via natural language voice commands.”

The Future
Remember what was mentioned in one of the first weeks?!
Know what came before you!
“
Principles that stand the test of time and technology
Hierarchy – The Golden Ratio and Fibonacci sequence are still relevant today. Getting the balance right is vital in delivering information on smaller screens Balance, scale, space, line and shape.
Typography – The need to understand good typographic choices, what’s appropriate for a particular task has always been a standard from the Illuminated scripts to letting you know if your flight is on time.
Colour – Bauhaus teaching of colour theory by Kandinsky, Klee, and Albers still very valid today.
Branding and Icon Design – Otto Neurath and Gerd Arntz Isotype became the standard to icon creation. The creation of easily read icons is more important now that it has ever been.

The Final Class
‘Twas the ending of the semester and the final lecture of the module! Clearly, not marking the end as we looked at the future.
Currently, on the market there is such a wide range of devices that we can carry around in her pockets or have sitting at home! If the future has more in store for us, we’re looking at a bright one. Who knows what the future holds?
I mean, back when my mother was a kid, was she totally aware of the advances that were going to be made for us as children? Anything can happen.
Future Vision
For anyone reading, please take time to watch the video in the link below! It’s amazingly imaginative and fascinating to think that this is what the future of technology could be! What a world to live in.

ALSO, if I had this I don’t think struggling to get up for school... just saying.
