I love the trait of Amy being into Archeology in Boom, because it feeds into my headcanon that she and Sonic would be out traveling the world together instead of anything remotely close to a picket fence life.

Like,, In the future when Eggman isn't a big deal. Sonic goes out and finds old ruins that they can explore together. Amy gets to document everything and take her findings to museums and universities, and becomes a really renowned archeologist. Sonic's there as her backup for boobytraps, raiders, and cave-ins. They can spend their downtime in towns and cities, meeting new faces, trying new food, etc.
