M.B.R.E.O. Mark I Test Flight 2
An extra large fin was added to the engine barrel side of the rocket to increase the drag and hopefully stabilize it. The flight path was indeed markedly different and resulted in some unintended consequences.

The Heggsagon River Shot. That time when I launched a dozen eggs into the river. We needed a canoe to get it, but we successfully recovered the rocket.

Chick Magnet Launch 2012. Charlie helped build Chick Magnet for 2011. The rocket doesn't fly the straightest, but then again, it's got a bunch of fuzzy chicks glued on it.

Greg’s Shells Angel C.A.T.O.
Here's an example of a rocket launch that didn't go quite as planned. Greg's Shells Angel carries 6 eggs and has had some impressive flights over the years. This last launch however was a Catastrophe At Take-Off (C.A.T.O).

John's Eggsterminator Rocket Launch.
I have several videos to upload from the last Eggloft (EGGLOFT 2012). I thought I’d start it off with an example of “what is supposed to happen”. Eggsterminator had an exemplary flight/recovery and the egg was retrieved intact. In theory, this is what we are trying to do... in application this is achieved with, shall we say, varying degrees of success.
