Dear Friends, the students of the Dutch Art Institute have gotten together to raise funds for the studies of the prospective DAI student, Marilú Mapengo Námoda, to start in October 2020. THE KOKRA FAMILY makes visual documentations of wonderment about what you are looking at and why in that specific configuration. The visual narrative power of an inventory has us looking into different material assemblages. By researching different contexts we want to explore the relation between families, peoples circumstances and their material culture.
I This inventory documents all objects from the workshop and small museum of the late shoemaker Josef Mösch from Frick, Switzerland. We thank the Mösch family for their support, generosity, and sharing of this intimate place.
II This inventory documents all objects from a storage room in ii, Finland. We thank the family who owns this storage for their hospitality.
