Dance is Life

"Its the unexpected that changes our lives."

It was never my plan to be a part of a big group like this. I never thought that I will be receiving such a great blessing and that is meeting these guys that gave another color to my life.

At first, I thought it will be another boring year for me, just focused on studies and nothing else. But I was wrong, I got into something that I really love, and that is dancing.

I have learned a lot from our coach and all our members. I learned that age doesn't matter when it comes to your dreams, because our coach already achieved a lot when he was 14. It doesn't matter if you can't do it well, failures will lead you to success and success will lead you to happiness.

Sunrise

Our sweet little travel to the Bagasbas Beach at Daet, Camarines Norte. We just sat and talked about how beautiful the sunrise is. As we go on appreciating how beautiful it is, we thought that “why don’t we take a picture”. It was so worth it that we don’t even want to leave anymore. 

As we wait for the sun to rise fully in the sky, we ate our packed lunch while laughing and talking about silly little things that we have done before. It was priceless, hoping for another one this year.

I scream for Ice cream

Hot weather? I will eat Ice cream. Cold weather? I will still eat ice cream. If I'm happy I would like to eat ice cream, also whether I'm sad I still need Ice cream.

For short Ice cream is my comfort food. Whatever I'm feeling I still want ice cream.

My happy pill

We were like an Ice cream, cold but sweet. We were both moody and clingy at the same time. I like you as much as you like me, and that makes me really happy.

Ever since you came into our lives it's been livelier and happier. Sometimes you were like an angel who needs so much love from me, but most of the time you were like a boxer that punches everyone who walks by you, and I think that is really cute.

You were my spirit animal, we can understand each other more than anybody else. For them you're just a pet, but for me you're my heart.

One of a kind

All schools were build with the purpose of helping students learn and to guide them to have a better and successful life in the future. These were their mission, but not all of them succeed. But there is this one of a kind school, where they really focus on the student's discipline and learning.

New Era University, the school that has a trade mark and well-known because of it, being disciplined and helpful in every aspect. It started as an institute owned by Iglesia ni Cristo (INC). It is a non-sectarian school that accepts students with different religion and culture.

This school provides all the necessities that the students need for their studies. NEU fulfills their duty like no other schools. It provides a full and complete facilities for students to use, one of these are the classrooms. Fully airconditioned, with a white board so that it's not a problem anymore to clean chalk dust, and it already has led tv.

Next is the cafeteria, that sells healthy and affordable food for students to eat whenever they got hungry from too much studying. There are also fun events that were held in NEU, it is for students to learn how to socialize with other students and to witnes their unity.

The students, faculty, and staff members were all magnificent for creating such a great school, that up until now keeps on providing a great care and teachings to all different kinds of children.

Wings: Unforgettable Journey

"I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly. I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky."

Not all journeys were a record of your travel from one place to another. Sometimes it is the experience that we go through or we're going through to reach our goals. A lot of things have been happening, not just 'things', but great and bad things.

In my life journey, I have been through a lot just like everybody else. I experienced pain and sorrow at the same time with joy and bliss. As a human we always asks ourselves questions, "why is it me?", "do I deserve this?", "does anyone feels the same like I do?"

Commonly asked questions by people who were going through a lot in their life. And I am one of them, because I don't even realize why I'm living emptily in our world. What is my purpose? All of this question are part of our lives, if your not asking even one of these questions then you're not aware of life itself.

The most unforgettable journey in my life is when I started stepping into the world with my own both feet, without relying with other's help. I admit it that I always depend on other's strength and I know that, that is not a good attitude to have. But now, I want to do the things I'm doing before with just my own strength. This is my unforgettable journey, this is the time that I can finally say that I have tried and did my best.

Hero without a cape

Not all teachers were a worker from a school, because mine is just living with me in the same house. And not all heroes wore a cape, because mine just wear a t-shirt. For me it doesn't matter who you are, a long as you teach others to be better, then you can now be refer to as a teacher. Being a teacher requires a lot of patience and strong will, without these two you can never teach another person the best. For me, the best teacher is my older brother. He teaches me a lot and made me learn many things that I didn't expect to even know.

Despite the fact that we always argue with each other, it doesn't affect the way he teaches me to learn. He taught me how to my brain properly and how to apply the things that I have discovered from him. Whenever i face a big problem he was the one who always assist me so that I can still make rational decisions. The best part about him is that he really cares for me. Because why would he teach me if he doesn't care about me?

I'm really lucky to have a brother and also a teacher like him. Up until now I am still relying on him, I hope that soon I can stand on my own both feet with the help of his teachings and the way he handled his own life.

Not that bad

Community? What is a community? Wikipedia defined community as a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common. Every single person in this world belongs to a community, it's either a good community or a not-so-good community.

Thankfully speaking, I think that our community is not that bad. There are few crimes, like that's already normal here in this country and you really can't avoid that. I really don't go out a lot since my parents are really strict, that's why I don't know how our community really works. But everytime I walk my way to go to school I noticed that there were people who's cleaning the road early in that morning. I can't helped to admire them, how can they wake up that early just to clean? I don't even clean my room. As I continued walking, I saw teenagers and kids like me walking their way to their schools. I know that it's such a bother to wake up early in the morning just to go to school and learn. But it seems that, that doesn't even matter. I feel thankful with this community that prevents a lot of crime, since almost everyday I go home late because of my dance training. I don't feel that nervous whenever I am walking by myself. I hope that it can continue that wag for all to be safe whenever they go home late or go out late. I don't go out a lot but I love this community.

The Famous Failure

Whenever we hear the word "Fail" we always thought that it's a bad thing. But actually it's not. Before we reach the place where we are right now, we failed a thousand, times, or might me more than that. Failing is already a part of our lives, maybe to make it more exciting? or challenging? I don't know. All that I know is if you are suffering right now, or struggling with whatever problem you are experiencing, you don't have to cry and be scared of failing. We all fail, yes we do. Even successful personalities failed at least once in their life. But you know what's good with failing? It is the proof that you are trying.

One of the well-known failures is Albert Einstein. He was a German-born theoretical physicist who had many inventions and discoveries. He was best known for his theory of relativity, where Einstein said that all motion must be defined relative to a frame of reference and that space and time are relative, rather than absolute concepts. He started from the very bottom, without knowing if what he was doing was right or was it really for him. Einstein is a bubbly person that didn't mind no matter how many times he failed.

Because he thought that he can just start it all over again. Because of that approach and the way he handled life, he became a symbol of knowledge and success. He inspired a lot of people to keep on moving forward to achieve their goals and to prove something. Because life is too short to stay in your comfort zone, you have to explore the world and your capabilities. Failing is the least that matters when you work hard. Just like what Einstein said: "Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value."

On your Feet

We go through a lot of struggles as we go along with the flow of life. Others might be good or bad, but every single problem or occurrence gives us lessons that we can use as we move on. It's already obvious, no matter who you are, or where you came from, we all are experiencing hardships that we may thought we can never sweep off. But it's just a matter of choice, whether you want to keep on moving forward, or you want to stay where you fell down.

For the past 16 years of my life I certainly don't know what am I doing. I made a lot of mistakes without even knowing what I want to do, without realizing what's my missing piece. Since I was younger I honestly loved dancing more than anything. My relatives are always praising because they've been saying that I'm good at dancing. But there's also a lot of people who were so against to it. I thought that it's just a hobby of mine, but I was wrong.

Dancing meant a lot more, not just to myself but also to my soul. The greatest decision that I have made is to pursue my dancing career. Everyday feels like I'm dying whenever we were training. Even if that's how I feel I still continued chasing the dream that I had longed for. No matter how many times I fell down, no matter what people will say to me. I won't give up. Because dancing is like dreaming on your feet.
