1991's baby. Venezolana. Wonderfully weird. Just a little bit anxious. Sometimes I write, sometimes I draw, most of the time I just overthink.

Everything you don’t forgive lives rent free in your head.
Remember what forgiveness is not—condoning, permitting, excusing, allowing, or forgetting.
The actual definition of forgiveness is “to cease to feel resentment.”
You don’t have to be a saint to forgive. You don’t even need to be a particularly kind or compassionate person.
You just need to prioritize being free.

Readers, make sure you have all your favourite Ao3 fics downloaded.
Writers, make sure you have copies of all the fics you have posted on Ao3.
I don’t want to be alarming, but things could get really bad really fast. OTW shared this today on Twitter, and I'm a bit worried about it 😅
Ao3 is a non-profit organisation. If they have to start paying taxes, I have no idea what will happen.

I'm very sleepy today, but just a quick reminder that "getting upset at routine changes" when you're autistic, does not just mean large changes that cause automatic meltdowns.
It can be needing to have cereal on the day you usually have eggs.
Having to take a side street because of construction.
Your shirt being dirty so you have to choose a different one, but it's not your preferred one.
And it can be a cumulative effect. You'll manage just fine with cereal, but you feel off for the rest of day. And too many routine changes can wipe you out for days

Amazon deforestation fell over 50% in 2023 and as of August 2024 it was 46% lower than this time last year.
The Brazilian government has pledged to end Amazon deforestation entirely by 2030 and their current efforts have deforestation approaching the lowest it has been in the last six years.

Did you carve pumpkins if so what did you carve?
I did one! It just says '90 minutes' on it. I dunno why, just thought it was a spooky amount of time. - Crowley

Re: Good Omens "Season" 3:
Listen. Listen folks.
I know. We're upset. We have every right to be upset. He-who-won't-be-mentioned fucked this up for all of us: the fans, the cast, the crew.
BUT there are still two people involved in this project whom I trust to make this right for us:
Rob Wilkins, who says of himself that his job is to be Sir Terry's representative on earth, and Michael Sheen, the OG Good Omens Fan.
Look me in the eye and tell me you don't believe Michael Sheen would fight Amazon execs in an ASDA parking lot if they told him he wasn't allowed to kiss David Tennant on the mouth in front of a rolling camera. Or that you don't believe David would follow his lead.
I trust in the cast and crew to somehow steer this ship and to give us 90 minutes that feel like a satisfactory ending for this show that means so much to so many of us.
Did I wish for more than 90 minutes for them to pull it off? Absolutely.
But I won't lie, folks: I am SO. INCREDIBLY. RELIEVED.
I honestly thought they were just going to cancel it. They could have done. And the fact that they didn't is 100% down to us being a huge fandom with (let's be real here) a lot of purchasing power and the ability to kick off a ginormous shitstorm all over social media. I bet there were whole entire meetings dedicated to figuring out if cancelling the show and washing their hands off this entire mess was worth the cost - and then they decided it wasn't.
That's down to us.
So we'll take these 90 minutes and we will squeeze every last molecule of dopamine out of them because Michael and David and the rest of the crew and Rob will make sure that there will be plenty for us to enjoy.
And then we'll continue doing what we've always done: write fanfic and make art and love these characters. We don't need him-who-won't-be-mentioned or Amazon for any of that.

Remember: you don’t have to choose.
You can be grateful that we are getting an on-screen, canon completion to Good Omens, AND devastated that the time we had anticipated getting to spend with our favorite idiots has been slashed by 75%.
You can acknowledge how close the series obviously came to being canned entirely and give a sigh of relief, AND weep for the storylines and flashbacks that will be chiseled away or cut entirely.
You can logically accept that a good movie can accomplish a hell of a lot in ninety minutes, and Good Omens will have a massive leg-up because all of the establishing elements are already there and they can basically jump right into the action, AND feel disappointment and sorrow — grief, honestly — for the loss of what we have been anticipating for so long.
Good and bad, light and shadow, joy and pain — they aren’t mutually exclusive. One does not cancel out the other. They can coexist…and sometimes they must. Don’t try to stamp out one side or the other, either in your own heart or in someone else.
Feel your big feelings. Give them space to breathe. Feelings are neutral; it’s what you do with them that counts.
So hang in there. We’re all in this together 💛

When they say "a wise old man once said" they usually mean michael sheen.
