Ya know, corporate gigs are not always ideal, and I’ve definitely sat through a few “Training Sessions” that could have just been a memo. But. As I go through my annual refresher on my employer’s policies on Sexual Harassment, I cannot help but reflect upon my days working for privately owned restaurants in west Los Angeles, which did not have such policies on the books, and I gotta say I do not miss that fucking drama. Buncha hot 20somethings, universally alcoholics, all hooking up with each other constantly, causing drama and tension and shit. Do not miss that. I personally had a strict rule about not dating within the workplace that served me well, but it’s nice to have it officially on the books. Plus:
